Getting creative in the studio with the likes of Seven Lions, Skrillex, Deadmau5, and Tom Morello, and contributing to film scores and OSTs, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “XXX -Return of Xander Cage” in collaboration with top composer Brian Tyler, Stanczak's long standing career in electronic music never stands still.

Within his realm, the musical environment that lines his silver cloud is nothing but fresh, driven and insanely in love with music - putting Shane Garcia the face behind Melotyx on the right place on the map. Taking the western coast of Australia on an absolute sweet-synth musical ride, it’s this kite surf loving talent that is turning on the attention with his run of tunes. Breaking the genres down from indie dance and all things house to the dirty dungeon of trap, twerk, moombah and drum & bass - he has it covered.
 
From his western hub of Perth, the master festivals have caught on to the Melotyx tip with the Electric Button artist on a round of highlights from Future Music Festival to Groovin’ The Moo and CoLaB Festival. Off stage and overseas, the Gili Islands and Lombok too have embraced the heat with a Melotyx feature in 2014. Swimming in a pool of so many breakthrough artists and offshore leaders including Dubvison, Julian Jordan, Tenzin, Bombs Away and ARIA winners Peking Duk, Shane has his sound ready for the masses. 

With a solid run of shows throughout Western Australia, and a huge hit of summer festival launch parties, the country really has had a sweet taste of the musical aura radiating from Melotyx and his ability to shake up a dance floor. Athina Hilman from Rolling Stone Music proudly noted Melotyx as one to watch for the future, mixing infectious beats to get a crowd pumping. He also reins as the official DJ for WAKSA while holding a credible role as Director and Editor of On The Fly Australia - a perfect interaction of music and its enthusiasts, as a leading mix series for electronic heads globally. 

Melodic and crazy with a blend of dance floor fire, Melotyx holds a sought after ticket to Western Australia and beyond, heating up playlists and upcoming studio walls in 2015.

Epitaph Records is an independent music label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights spawned what became known as the 90s punk explosion. 

Along the way Epitaph proudly launched its sister label ANTI-, representing unique and distinguished acts. From the beginning Epitaph’s mission has been to serve the musicians on its diverse and creative roster - an artist-first model, radical twenty years ago, and much imitated today.
