As a dance musician, ballet pianist, and arranger, 이정림(lee Junglim) is expanding her activities in various genres and communicating with the public, and her new album, ‘GISELLE: Ballet Class Music’

[An arrangement album containing the special challenge of pianist 이정림(lee Junglim)]
This album is an album in which all the songs from the ballet piece ‘Giselle’ are arranged and performed to suit the class. Compared to previously released albums, it is characterized by its long counts, making it useful for various forms such as ballet and barre. This album once again shows 이정림(lee Junglim)’s meticulous side, as she seeks to communicate with dancers in class settings.

[A gift dedicated to ballerina Misun Kang]
This album jacket especially captures the beautiful appearance of Universal Ballet’s principal dancer ‘Misun Kang’. Ballerina Misun Kang, who conveys the language of dance and music through her body, her beautiful photos also sufficiently express the aesthetics of the ballet Giselle. 이정림(lee Junglim) dedicated this album to ballerina Misun Kang, expressing her connection and gratitude through music.

<Composer's Note>

In ballet classes, there are often times when difficulties arise in situations where multiple groups or repetitive training are ongoing. In such cases, live piano accompaniment allows for a natural flow, but when using audio sources, the repetitive music is often cut off, which is disappointing. This album was created to allow ballet teachers, ballerinas & ballerinos, and students to use it smoothly and naturally.

The main advantages of the album are as follows:

1. Long counts and flexible flow: It provides longer counts, allowing for more efficient training for various exercises such as ballet and barre. The music is flexible and naturally connected, helping you not to lose focus even during repetitive training.

2. Can be used for various exercises: It can be used for various exercises such as ballet, barre, and stretching, so it is highly utilized in various fields.

3. Optimized for repetitive training: It naturally continues the flow even in situations where there are many group classes or repetitive training, and minimizes the inconvenience that may arise when using audio sources.

이번 앨범은 발레 작품 ‘지젤’의 전곡을 클래스에 맞게 편곡 및 연주한 앨범이다. 기존 발매된 앨범들에 비해 긴 카운트로 구성되어 발레, 바레 등 다양한 형태로 유용하게 활용할 수 있다는 점이 특징이다. 이번 앨범은 클래스 현장에서 무용수와 소통하고자 하는 이정림의 세심한 면모를 다시금 보여준다.

[발레리나 강미선(Misun Kang)에게 헌정하는 선물]
이번 앨범 쟈켓은 특별히 유니버설발레단 ‘강미선’ 수석 무용수(Principal dancer)의
아름다운 모습을 담았다. 춤과 음악의 언어를 오롯이 몸으로 전해주는 강미선 발레리나, 그녀의 아름다운 사진은 발레 지젤의 미학 또한 충분히 표현해주고 있다. 
이정림은 강미선 발레리나와의 인연과 고마움을 음악에 담아 이 앨범을 헌정했다.

발레클래스 현장에서는 여러 그룹 또는 반복 훈련이 계속되는 상황에서 종종 어려움을 겪을 때가 있습니다. 이런 경우 라이브 피아노 반주는 자연스러운 흐름이 가능하나 음원으로 진행 시 반복되는 음악이 끊어져 아쉬운 경우가 많습니다. 이 앨범은 그런 점을 고려해 발레선생님과 발레리나&발레리노, 그리고 학생들 모두 원활하고 자연스럽게 사용할 수 있도록 제작되었습니다.


앨범의 주요 장점은 다음과 같습니다.

1. 긴 카운트와 유연한 흐름: 보다 긴 카운트를 제공하여 발레와 바레 등 다양한 운동에 맞춰 훈련을 더욱 효율적으로 할 수 있습니다. 유연하고 자연스럽게 이어지는 음악으로 반복적인 훈련에도 집중을 잃지 않도록 도와줍니다.
