Fire Fantasy - Improvised Piano Piece

An original song about my Uncle and friend Ciaran O'Briain, one of the last Lighthouse Keepers in Ireland. 

Mizen Head is regarded as the most southerly point of mainland Ireland, but Brow Head is the actual the most southerly point. It is situated at the end of Mizen Peninsula and is in the district of Carbery in County Cork.

I Am the Keeper

1st Verse
The Light you see across the bay, that’s my home where I will stay
Until the new machine, takes over my dream

2nd Verse
And I don’t mind being here on my own, I’m at ease when I am alone
With the rugged rocks beneath me and a light above my head, it will shine

Chorus
For I am the Keeper on Mizen Head, it’s a grand place, to work in
And I am the luckiest man in the world, to be stationed, in paradise

3rd Verse
I climb the stairs and trim the Wick, sound the horn when fog is thick
For your safe navigation, back home to family
