Billain is one of the most elusive and enigmatic artists in the drum and bass and experimental music worlds, and in this interview he finally gives listeners an insight into his process and world of synesthetic souund. James Magnetude, label manager for Evolution Chamber, was also there to give a label perspective on 'Mirror' and his take on the EC A&R process when dealing with a rare talent such as Billain.

my interpretation of emulating the musical system known as colundi, using a spectrographic technique for matching some of the same pitches.
Colundi for those of you that don't know is not based on any musical system such as the western 12 tone or indian ragas etc it's completely invented and features pitches that exist in the microtonal space between standard notes. 
theres more to colundi than this but this is an initial attempt at recreating it in my own style
