Kidnap is an artist whose music overflows with emotion - rich and powerfully evocative.

Recording in London, Kidnap (real name Matthew Relton) likens his process to that of a sculptor, starting with a block of sound and chopping away until a shape emerges. As such, each song exists ornately carved with a handcrafted subtly.

Still just 33, Relton is already something of an industry veteran. Releasing his first single in 2012 kicked off an eight-year stretch of global touring that came to a grinding halt when the pandemic put the world on pause.

2024 marks a new chapter for Kidnap, with his next body of work on the horizon. Set against the backdrop of a changing world and the arrival of a baby daughter, Relton offers a bittersweet reflection on the passing of time. ‘It’s about looking back on the last 12 years — the touring and the friends and the sleeplessness,” says Relton, “and realising that in order to embrace the life I have now, I need to let it all go.’ The music shimmers with nostalgia. Signature sad melodies dance deftly around commanding synth lines, altogether sounding like an artist with a new found sense of purpose.

Dj Vivid entdeckte schon in seiner frühen Kindheit die Liebe und Verbundenheit zur Musik. 1999 begann er sich der elektronischen Richtung zu widmen und startete seine Dj Karriere, wobei der Boom der damaligen House-Szene ihn so faszinierte, dass dieser Style bis zum heutigen Tage ein ständiger Begleiter in seinem Leben ist. Nach einigen Events im Raum Thüringen und Sachsen-Anhalt, gründete er sein erstes Dj-Projekt “Les D.scotizers“ sowie das Label clubburn-records und setze seine Laufbahn als Resident Dj bei Sunshinebeat fort, worauf viele Events sowie Radioauftritte folgten. 2007 änderte er sein Konzept und startete mit seinem neuen Dj-Team “The Phonotronics“ einen Neuanfang. Sein aktuelles Projekt Royal Clubnights hat sich in der Party-Szene im Thüringer Raum sehr positiv entwickelt und viele Anhänger gefunden und man darf sich jetzt schon auf weitere zahlreiche Veranstaltungen mit ihm freuen. Zu seinen Referenzen zählen unter anderem Clubs und Events wie: Nachtcafé und Soundgarden Leipzig, SonneMondSterne 2012 (Red Bull Stage) Speeddays, Royal-Clubnights ON TOUR (Resident Dj), Cosmopolar Erfurt (Resident Dj 2010 – 2011), Bach-Festival, Summer-Lounge-Festival, Centrum Erfurt, Club 1 Erfurt, 5th Club Jena, Queen Berlstedt, Kartarena und Studio 2 Meiningen, Strike's Apolda, D-Bar Trusetal, Sunshinebeat Apolda, Klatschmoon Weimar, Eastside Schweinfurt, New Wave Sömmerda and many more.
