Following on from their last Tribe 12 release back in February, Belgium based duo, The Untouchables, have been making waves with minimal d&b. Now returning with some of the most militant beats this year, and support from highly renowned artists like dBridge and Loxy, The Untouchables are more than living up to their name.
Kicking things off on the A side is the brutal ‘Adamantium’, a meaty arrangement of half time beats and menacing synth lines. Continuing things along a similar vein is the unmissable VIP of ‘Correction Coming Forward’ – a more solid up-to-date take.
Swaying the mood a bit more upbeat, The Untouchables have teamed up with UK producer Gappa G for a more dub-influenced track. Rounding the highly anticipated EP off is another collaboration with notably sought after artists Gremlinz and Rumbleton, ‘Twelve Colonies’, compromising of ruthless synths and a killer drum pattern.

Birth of a Warrior

At the start of this year, I began suffering with anxiety and felt a total lack of creativity as a result. After seeking help and getting a prescription for Sertraline, I felt inspired again and started making music. This track is named for the drug that helped me come out the other side.
This is the title track of a 3 track EP and it closes the record, hopefully it leaves listeners on a euphoric note!

Modern Conveniences is thrilled is welcome Sorse to the label. After a string of incredible releases in 2020 the German duo presents Quiet Wanderer, four tracks of captivating autonomic which take the listener on a journey through space and time. The EP opens with the deep and reflective “Lagoon”, drawing the listener in before building tension and atmosphere with “Whimsical”. Things take a slight detour from the melodic with the sparse and moody “Unidentified” before ending with the beautifully melancholic title track. The release is a strong opener for Modern Conveniences in 2021 and a sign of things to come.
