The first part of my second long mix providing a musical space for journeys within. Expect 2nd part in 1st half of October 2018

At some track transitions nature sounds are used, for others a track is mixed into the next. For a few silence is used. This is done, as it for me is important to focus also on the silence and ambient sounds of our planet. It is from this, that the music arises. Journeys

This Journey We Take Part 1 - Settling

This exquisite Shamanic Medicine TranceDance journey has been created for more experienced dancers and movement meditators.  Whilst the design is the same as all my Shamanic Medicine Trancedance channellings - ie moving around the medicine wheel from east (air) to north (earth) to west (water) to south (fire), and alchemising all 4 elements into ether;  the music invites a deeper focus AND a deeper letting go at the same time.  The journey supports moving in completely strange and foreign ways at tiimes, exploring the unknown, and shaking up the hard neural pathways of the brain that no longer serve us. There are parts that open to our deep earthiness, sensuality and bliss, including sexual taboos and fear, and parts that support playfulness and child-like spontaneity.  To dance the journey from beginning to end - through the easy parts to the more challenging (for each person these parts will be different), takes experience:  it requires an authentic presence to be fully embodied and the space for everything at all times.  This is embodied spiritual practice.  I gift it, and dedicate it, to all the dancers who have been exploring the space of movement meditation with me for many years.  I am because of you.
