I recorded this in August 2021 as part of a 'podcast' series called "MacroMichael" (as to be posted here).  Each episode is basically me introducing music ideas for of a song that consists of only my own lyrics and rock guitar on one track.  I try to share strategies for wellness with my lyrics, by telling stories and using philosophy.  I also just share my different perspectives of reality.  Each episode has different strengths.

Everybody Breathe

This song started out once again with the lyrics which I wrote less than a month ago.  I wrote the guitar and recorded versions as I sing and play, until I got this.  Because it is the end of the month, this is as polished as it gets... for now!

Draw Our Line in the Sand (Everybody Knows)

This is something I just wrote.  It is about planning for the future and getting the most out of today.  I would like to add more lead guitar, drums, bass so don’t be too surprised if something like that happens this year!

I Can't Stop the Fight

My lyrics are the most essential piece to my music.  I have over 200,000 words of poetry on my website, MacroMichael.com. I started as an English major and graduated in psychology with a Bachelor of Arts.  I published with the department of psychiatry on “Effective Self-management Strategies…” in mental health, in the Journal of Affective Disorders (2016).  I also had success as a foreman, and red seal electrician.

 Then comes my guitar and song-writing.   I have played guitar since the 80’s..   In 2021, my song-writing kicked in when I started a series of “music-idea podcasts.”  The songs are all here.  Some of the lyrics and riffs are from the 1990’s, 2000’s and 2010’s..  Most of the songs are fresh from this decade (2020’s).  I write about reality from my perspective and share ideas about wellness, peace and love.
