The Devil Rolled up to West Palm Beach~

Bangin' on & tickling the keys, tappin' & thwapin' little RGB square pads, twistin' knobs, slidin' sliders, tweakin' sounds, programing, arranging, recording, mixing & editing since way back when... going way back.. Always had a desire to create music. Started w/a Casio MT-520 in 1985 (also when and how I learned to play drums using finger pads and ultimately the coordination to play the drums as this model had 8 or 9 yellow octagon shaped drum pads on it, which is what drew me in, they looked like electronic drums, but, did not have that 80's electronic drum sound, but PCM was the big hype and it did have quite a few variations to each drum pattern. 3 or 4 different variations for the kick and snare, cymbals, Hi and Low Toms and percussion. A couple years later and I added a Casio HT-700 in 1987.. which was technically a synthesizer, limited as it was, it still allowed for creating your own sounds with SD synthesis.. know idea, really, what I was doing.. but it was fun, I knew that much.. and so was still awesome at the time, radical, totally tubular (...oh the 80's, def officially the olden days now). But those Casio's, along with the playing with an SK-1, were my first experiences with synthesizers, sampling, sound design.. possibilities were many in my mind.. and so the desire really caught fire! FFWD 10yrs more- The passion was permanently engraved onto my core being if it wasn't already..  my imagination ran wild when I brought home the Kurzweil K2500XS in 1997. 25yrs later still & my playground is full of various tools, keyboards, analog & digital synthesizers, analog & digital drum machines, grooveboxes, various DAWs, a plethora of plugins & a sea of softsynths. So Admittedly, I have a "problem" (not so much a bad thing.. but) Ok, My name is Michael- and-  I have "gear lust"- They keep making new awesome gear or releasing clones of old/reimagined gear- -  and I love it! Every new addition is adding to my tool box.. and is FUN! Most of the tracks I have uploaded as of now (May 2020) were either done on my Yamaha Motif ES8 alone, or in conjunction with software, or fully in the software realm. However, the toolbox has seen several new additions.. what's coming will ideas that I can finally bring to fruition with all the new gear and new possibilities have been realized with the new gear and as more and more is released/created. My creativity has been put into a perpetual "kid on Xmas morning" type excitement... It's Now 2025 and SO much has transpired from even just the start of this particular bio till now. I think I'm finally ready to put together some albums and for nothing more than my own enjoyment, be able to just have done that and listen to it.. I'm old school in the sense that, I want physical media.. An actual album, a CD, a DVD, A cassette tape even. And because of that, I have projects that will utilize and be presented on each one of those. USB drives and streaming will obviously be a thing still as well.. and I have always had a vision for a live show.. and if I can realize that, and make it happen just once..  it will be so amazing, and make for a great video recording... It's majority instrumental .. but as is my music and just music as a force, forever morphing and changing. Hope you enjoy checking out some of my music thus far..  Thanks for stopping in!!!
