There are many things in the world today.
That Climate Change is affecting in some negative way
Reservoirs that used to be very very vast
Have been shrinking down to nothing very fast.

Forests of trees have disappeared in a flash of fire
Nothing is left but embers in the mire
The giant Sequoias are threatened every day
Can the California firefighters keep the fire away?

Another Climate Change threat is at the South Pole
It’s the threat of melting glaciers don’t you know
Normally the melting glaciers comes and go
And the ice is always completely froze.

As long as the glaciers are frozen they’re not a threat
But if they start to melt they become a threat you bet
Cause the melting waters cause the seas to rise
And in towns with beaches, it will be time to say bye bye

So the scientists are watching the Doomsday Glacier
And logging lots of data that they have measured
They have determined that it's falling apart
And if it collapses we may be sailing to the stars

Verse 6

Remember the movie two thousand and twelve
How the waters rose up and created a water hell
When this glacier collapses that could really happen
And I wouldn’t want to be living in Manhattan

Verse 7

So how soon in the future could this happen
Some say in 3-5 years if there is no action
By the earth’s lazy incompetent leaders
Then the Doomsday glacier will raise the seas by 25 meters

DJ Michael van der Knoop, a native of Amsterdam, discovered his passion for music at a young age. In 1983, he received his first pair of Technics turntables and a Dateq mixer, marking the beginning of his journey in the world of DJing. Throughout the 80s and early 90s, he became a familiar presence at local parties, renowned venues in Amsterdam, and even ventured overseas.

After a hiatus of 12 years, a close friend persuaded Michael to return to the DJ scene for a momentous occasion - his 40th birthday celebration. Unable to resist the call, Michael embraced the opportunity. However, he recognized the need to adapt to the advancements in DJ technology and familiarize himself with modern equipment. Determined to deliver an unforgettable performance, he dedicated himself to mastering the art of mixing once again. To this day, he remains confident that rekindling his passion was the right decision.
