Sein Name steht für absolut guten House, Deep House und Nu Disco. Besonders interessant sind die Projekte mit verschiedenen Live Künstlern. Dabei sind Sänger/inen Annika Pfeiffer, Jenny Casparius und Dressman sowie Saxofonist Jan Grepling Freunde und Teil der Projekte wie SUN@NIGHT, Le Dress - Le Tompé &amp; Dressman oder le Tompé feat. Für Dario begann alles am 02.06.2006 in seinem Jugendzimmer. Mit einem alten Röhrenfernseher, der Satellitenradio empfangen konnte, wartete er gespannt auf die magischen Worte, die aus dem TV im thüringischen Worbis erklangen.

Endlich ertönte die kurze Frequenz „Sputnik Turntable Days 2006“ und in Darios Kopf hallte der Satz: „Und jetzt mit den jungen Nachwuchskünstlern aus dem Eichsfeld“. Aus diesem Satz entstand ein Traum, und aus den Wochenenden vor dem Radio entwickelte sich seine Leidenschaft für die Musik.

Im Jahr 2008 wagte Dario den Schritt vom träumenden Jugendlichen zum DJ. Als Teil des Duos „Animal Funk“ trat er in die Fußstapfen seines Traums und begann, die Clubs von Mitteldeutschland zu erobern. Mit 16 Jahren gelang es ihm, heimlich ins „Glashaus Worbis“ zu gelangen, einen legendären Housefloor, der zu seinem Zuhause als Residenz-DJ wurde und ihn in seine eigene Welt der Musik entführte.

2014 erlebte „Animal Funk“ einen Wendepunkt mit der Teilnahme am „Sputnik Spring Break DJ Battle“ und dem Gewinn eines Slots auf der „Sputnik Floor Stage“. Der Traum aus der Jugend wurde nun greifbar.

„Animal Funk“ entwickelte sich zu einem DJ-Duo, das moderne House- und Techhouse-Tunes mit klassischen House- und Elektro-Tracks kombinierte. Diese Mischung machte jeden Abend zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis, bei dem das „Tanzen bis die Füße schmerzten“ zur Norm wurde.

Im Jahr 2015 wollte Dario mit einer erneuten Teilnahme an einem Battle alles toppen. Mit einer starken Crew und treuen Fans im Rücken kämpfte er um einen Platz auf der Mainstage des „SonneMondSterne“-Festivals, wo die besten DJs der Welt bereits gespielt hatten. Nach einem spannenden Kopf-an-Kopf-Rennen und einem Live-Battle im Radio-Studio in Halle eroberte „Animal Funk“ nicht nur einen Platz auf der Mainstage beim „SonneMondSterne.X9“, sondern verwirklichte auch einen weiteren Traum.

Seit 2024 ist Dario nun solo unterwegs und verfolgt seine musikalischen Visionen allein. Die Träume von Dario fliegen weiter – wer weiß, wo wir ihn als nächstes antreffen werden!

It all started in the year 2002. Two rather refrained DJs were increasingly confronted with sentences like "Don´t you like what you´re doing? Take it easy! Just smile!" etc. All the time they were only concentrated, doing their thing. In order to further avoid further nagging questions and uncomfortable situations, they decided to hide their faces and created helmets to wear during their sets. A suitable name had to be found, underlining this rather involuntary appeareance: BROTHERS INCOGNITO were born. Now the honoured listener could devote himself to the only essential and  fundamental thing - music without compromise. Certain parallels to Daft Punk sank in much later and were, of course, unintentional. Since then, music is the absolute focus. The two quickly realised that now they were putting themselves under less pressure, relaxed and little by little developed a second personality behind their masks. In a certain way fantasy figures as known from movies, their creators giving them distinctive features and a special look, only in this case creator and creation merge into one. An explosive mixture seemingly allowing to cross borders and to achieve a certain freedom.

The fan-base quickly grew and - to avoid exchangeability - was named the HOT SECRET SOCIETY. Rumours and speculations about who is hiding behind Brothers Incognito are going on until today. Communication is only possible by body language, the senses are influenced in a special and different way.  Musically, borders and boundaries are equally pushed aside and different influences are incorporated into a DJ set. Thus you will find within a Brothers Incognito set House, Techno and Electro as well as Minimal and TechHouse. Always fresh, exciting and up-to-date.
