This half time shuffle, the sweet potato swing,  was a favourite of The Sidewinders. Still a fave of Tom’s and mine to play.  The “Kitchen of Love” is where Johnny Wilson taught me how to relax by playing predominantly quarter notes on the drums, the spaces in between swing on their own. Johnny Wilson, such a great bass player, infectious grooves and runs,  I loved playing the Potato Swing as Johnny played his melodic reggae ish bass lines. 
Tom’s kitchen in Spearwood, a largish room with a low ceiling, gave us a nice sonic  ambience as we played our music. Such joyous jams, almost “evangelisic”, at least to me. 

Johnny Calebrase’s burbling staccato organ is fargin great.
