Quantum Flux

An exploration of the Woulda-Coulda-Shoulda  moments of growing up -  all the moments of choice and circumstance that defined us, isolated us, made us angry and caused us to be misunderstood. Does who we were define who we will be?  
Shyling is the word Keith used to explore the young person trapped by insecurity and fear. Despite lurking on the fringes of life  through the rebelliousness of our teen and younger adult years, there is always the hope of a page being turned in the book. "Keep on shining," despite of, or because, of who we were and who we are now. The book of life is certainly a more interesting read because of our struggles. Perhaps we just need to reconcile with our past, talk to your younger self, give him/her a hug, tell him/her that you understand their struggles and there is no blame assigned. Then turn that page and live in the now.

Feels like we’re just creatures in a zoo
Living with eight billion angry souls
Someone needs to put up a big sign that says
Don’t feed the angry trolls

They say you shouldn’t wrestle with a pig 
Because in the end you’ll both get dirty
But the pig will actually have fun
And you’ll need a shower when you’re done

When someone tosses red meat at you
You can make the decision not to chew
You can be like Dirty Harry - say make my day
But sometimes it’s better to walk away

You don’t need to go straight to defcon one
With some random jerk who likes to argue for fun
You don’t need to start world war three
Just because you disagree

People out there who are like pigs
And they try to drag you into the mud
They’re out there trying to provoke
They make you angry and they think it’s all a joke

For days you’ll replay the argument in your head
While every night the pig sleeps comfortably in his bed

Everyone thinks they’re right

Celtic music is a paradox; in a minor key such as this piece, it tends to be melancholy, yet in its melancholia it can lift the spirit to heavenly realms where noble and reflective thoughts reside. Composer of guitar instrumentals from Australia, producng music & film from the home studio in my spare time purely for enjoyment.

Inspired by some of the guitar greats & instrumental bands from the 60's and 70's era. 
I produce mostly original instrumental guitar tracks. a few covers & tributes, and involved in the odd collaboration.
