Vincent Helbers aka Seravince is an Amsterdam-based keyboardist, composer, producer & mixing engineer. 'Freedom' is a previously unreleased track from the 'Hear To See' sessions between 2010-2011.

After meeting at CDR and doing the CDR Process together sponsored by PRS for music, EVM128 and James Rudie started to mess about collaborating with Gonzi who they also met through CDR. 

After coining the concept of INPUT together it needed a home. EVM put it to Tony Thorpe at Studio Rockers and the seed was sewn. The concept is simple, Make a beat, pass it on and let someone else add to it. Its about letting go of self and letting the music go somewhere it wouldn't have gone otherwise ... It was a labour of love and took some time with the sending files back and forth until the track felt right. We brought in a bunch of talented musicians, producers, singers and rappers to fulfil the brief. Its about collaborating together, wether that be involvement in the mixing and arrangement process, performing on the track, adding a keys line, percussion, synth, bass, everything was a joint effort. Everyone got on board and we feel we have created something special and unique where you can hear each persons input in the tracks. We love it and hope you will too.

I really love to discover new tracks and artists through the live sets at Operator. So is the case with my favorite set and staff pick of this month; Nedda Sou. Throughout her 2 hour mix she really sets a deep vibe with a good selection of Chicago/Detroit House with some uplifting Afro, Funk, Soul and Acid influences here and there. A great mix of genres but still staying true to the real House sound for me. The ‘storytelling throughout music’ is made complete with some great sultry neo-soul/ish vocals, and I’m a sucker for chopped up vocals in electronic music. If you want to clear your mind and just zone out, this one’s for you.

"I compiled this mix with the intention, mostly, to present some of my unreleased dance-orientated music alongside tunes that I'm really enjoying at the moment in no specific context. 
Dance music, in its many forms, has always been at the heart of what I do and is constantly inspiring me in its various forms. It was never really the nature of the 'William Florelle' project but I've released a lot of it in the past under other aliases.
