Michael Cassette returns to Anjunadeep with his new EP ‘Knight Rider’.

Known for his nostalgic blend of 80s synthwave and modern melodic house, Michael Cassette is a trailblazer in electronic music and one of the earliest stars of the Anjunadeep label. His work has inspired many of today’s standout artists, including Lane 8, Yotto, and Marsh, earning him a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim.

Michael’s breakthrough came in 2010 with ‘Temporarity', the second artist album ever released on Anjunadeep, which fast became a label classic. Garnering support from industry icons such as Eric Prydz, Laurent Garnier, and James Zabiela, the LP received glowing reviews, with DJ Mag calling it a flawless homage to the 80s "delivered with style and sophistication.”

After making a long-awaited return to the stage at Anjunadeep Explorations in 2023, Michael Cassette has reaffirmed his place as a key figure in electronic music. Previously supported by Purple Disco Machine and Above & Beyond, his music remains a cornerstone of Anjunadeep’s legacy and a lasting influence on the genre.

The 'Knight Rider EP' showcases Michael Cassette’s signature 80s-inspired electronic style at its finest, blending nostalgic synth textures with a fresh, contemporary edge. The title track reimagines the iconic Knight Rider theme, transforming its instantly recognisable melody into a dynamic, modern production.

Hot off the heels of his latest EP ‘Music For My Memories Pt I’, which won support from KCRW’s Jason Bentley and SiriusXM, San Francisco’s Luttrell returns with new single ‘Operation Midnight’; the lead single from his forthcoming EP ‘Music For My Memories Pt. II’.

Amassing over 55 million streams throughout his career to date, in recent years Eric has cemented his reputation as one of the electronic music scene’s most exciting acts, having toured the globe performing at Coachella, London’s Printworks and New York’s Brooklyn Mirage. A much loved Anjunadeep fan favourite, the past few years have seen Eric release two acclaimed LPs, his debut ‘Into Clouds’ and follow up ‘Lucky Ones’, along with a wave of well-received singles and remixes for the likes of Moby, Jai Wolf, Catching Flies and Above & Beyond. 

‘Music For My Memories Pt. II’ marks the second of a trilogy of works to be shared throughout 2021.

Luttrell - Operation Midnight

"Discoteca Italiana" is a contemporary interpretation of Italian club music from the past decades by @musumeci and 5 featuring artists.

The EP starts with "About Your Story" a joint opus with @andy-bros. A track with classic drum machines in a distinctive breakbeat pattern combined with orch hits, scratches performed by Italian Red Bull 3style champion @stonic and a voice that reminds us of the important things: "Passion, Soul, Glory".

The second track on the EP, "Bells of Freedom", a collaboration with @lehar-music, picks us up with driving arpeggios and a straight four by four beat.

Followed by "Go" a collaboration with @dodi-palese, a song inspired by a classic dance anthem. Rolling basslines, imposing tom fills and pads with a long release.

The fourth and last track is a symbiosis with @enzoelia. Tension is created by intrinsically quiet sounds, which are presented to the listener at a habitual more aggressive texture, carried by a spherical chant by Stefano Proietti.

Having produced countless label favourites over recent years, Matt Lange makes a much-anticipated return to Anjunadeep with the double a-side outing of "Way You Know" (feat. Tania Zygar) and "Only You".

Featuring on James Grant's "Anjunadeep 05" mix, the dark and dreamy "Way You Know" blends a deep, drum & bass-influenced approach to sub bass with complex, washing melodies and Tania Zygar's haunting, ethereal vocals. Gradually unfurling to a hypnotic climax with striking pianos, "Way You Know" is another complex gem from the Berklee graduate.

Initially beginning in a more reflective mood with melancholic pianos and organic breakbeats, "Only You" quickly ups the tempo with a chugging tech groove. Again playing heavily on emotion, atmosphere and sonic detailing, "Only You" was a standout track on Jody Wisternoff's "Anjunadeep 05" mix - making Matt one of only two artists to feature original productions on both mixes of the #1 iTunes Dance compilation.

Italian trio MEDUZA team up with Anjuandeep label stars Eli & Fur on long-awaited club banger ‘Pegasus’.

Having truly exploded onto the dance scene in the last three years, MEDUZA are the biggest streaming act that has ever come out of Italy, have collected multiple #1s on the UK radio charts, and played live on Oprah. They now join forces with Eli & Fur, a fan favourite on the Anjunadeep roster who never fail to impress the crowd with their energising and dynamic DJ sets, and their haunting vocals.

Following on from his Anjunadeep Explorations debut last summer, emerging German DJ/producer Ben Böhmer returns to the label for his first solo outing with a trio of melodic weapons on ‘Morning Falls EP’. The EP opens with the rolling melodies of ‘Morning Falls’ before drifting into peak time club cut ‘After Earth’. Böhmer rounds off the EP with the laid back grooves of ‘Velvet Rebellion’ which also features his friend and frequent collaborator Wood.

Released last September, Jordi van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer’s (aka Tinlicker) debut album ’This Is Not Our Universe’ took our world by storm, jumping to #1 on iTunes Dance upon release. A beautifully crafted journey through Jordi and Micha’s wide-ranging palette of progressive house and trance, the album featured an evergreen remix of alt-J’s ‘Breezeblocks’ as well as vocal singles ‘Lost’ and ’Need You’.

Their subsequent ’This Is Not Our Universe’ tour saw the pair traverse the globe in support of the album, including pitstops at Above & Beyond’s ABGT350 celebrations in Prague and the Anjunabeats UK tour.

Continuing the ’This Is Not Our Universe’ story, we welcome a host of remixes to the label from artists both old and new to the Anjunafamily. Fresh off his latest album ‘Deep State’ and setting up his Deep State Recordings imprint, Scottish producer Grum's progressive outlook on ‘Close Your Eyes’ has been a favourite in both his own and Tinlicker’s recent sets. With several heavy-hitting releases on Anjunadeep as of late, Spanish producer Dosem also joins the fray, contributing a deeper remix of ‘Vanishing’. To round off the package, Utrecht natives Deeparture and Tom Zeta tackle ‘Bird Feeder’ and ‘When The Light Fades’ respectively, whilst French producer and ‘Superset' pioneer Joris Delacroix adds his distinct melodic house flavour onto ‘Lost'.
