We're happy to present our new track. Out last Friday 9th August. 

This one is a remix of Tomorrow by Jerome Isma Ae and Paul Thomas that originally came out on Toolroom 14 years ago (and hit the number 1 spot on Beatport). Our version is out on our home away from home label UV.

We're massive fans of Jerome and Paul and so when they asked us to remix this classic of theirs we obviously jumped at the chance!

The riff is a belter and there were loads of great samples to work with. On first hearing it we had this idea of making a bassline like Scorchio by Sasha & Emerson (an all time classic that you have to check out if you don't already know it).
We did so but on sending it around to our friends we had comparisons to Armand van Helden instead (which we were definitely happy about too!)

The rest of the track came together nicely, with a disco influence to the drums and then those great vocals from the original providing the cherry on top.

Early radio support has come from Above & Beyond, Solarstone, Cosmic Gate, Sultan & Shepard, Paul Thomas, Raz Nitzan, Aly & Fila and loads more., and we've had great feedback from some of our favourite artists including Joris Voorn, Eelke Kleijn, Nora En Pure, PvD, Sister Bliss, Andy Moor, Just Her, Judge Jules and more so a huge thanks everyone for the support so far!

Bristol dance music legend Jody Wisternoff has announced his highly-anticipated third studio album, ‘Welcome To My World’. The announcement arrives alongside the release of the album's lead single ‘Mui’; a collaboration with James Grant, PROFF, and Takeshi Furukawa, featuring the evocative vocals of Siobhan Wilson.

Wisternoff, a pivotal figure in the UK's rave scene since the early '90s, is renowned for his keen ear for talent and his role in shaping the sound of the Anjunadeep label, where he co-curates the chart-topping annual compilation series. His career began back in 1986 at the age of 13 as a finalist in the DMC World DJ Championship, and he quickly became a mainstay of the UK rave scene, performing at legendary venues like the Lakota club in Bristol and for iconic promoters such as Fantazia and Universe.

A chance meeting with Nick Warren in a record store led to the formation of Way Out West, the pioneering duo behind several UK-charting singles and the UK dance number one hit ‘Mindcircus’. Their 1997 self-titled album garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success, and 20 years later, their Anjunadeep album ‘Tuesday Maybe’, became a firm favourite among the Anjuna fanbase and saw popular reworks from electronic music royalty including Guy J and Ben Böhmer.

Since then, Jody has released two solo studio albums on Anjunadeep, including the acclaimed ‘Nightwhisper’, which has garnered over 20 million streams and received support from BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM Chill. Across his distinguished catalogue, Wisternoff has amassed over 70 million streams, with his tracks earning praise from industry heavyweights like Eelke Kleijn, John Digweed, Nora En Pure, Chicane, and more.

Now, on new album ‘Welcome To My World’, Jody Wisternoff dives deeper into his extensive musical journey, and reflects the eclectic influences that have shaped his career. Across its 14 tracks, the album features his signature blend of emotive, intricate melodies and dynamic production techniques, punctuated by his trademark breaks.

‘Mui’, the lead single, is a fresh interpretation of award winning composer and conductor Takeshi Furukawa's ‘Shutdown’, originally composed for the Planet of Lana video game. After hearing Siobhan Wilson's soulful vocals on the track, Jody, James Grant, and PROFF were inspired to create their unique version, which first appeared on Anjunadeep 15 and quickly became a fan favourite.

The album also features standout tracks such as ‘Tales From Beyond’ with Nox Vahn and Natascha Polke, ‘Rain’ featuring Sian Evans, and ‘Ease Yourself’, all of which showcase Wisternoff's refined production skills that have earned him support from the likes of SiriusXM Chill and BBC Radio 1.

Jody Wisternoff has also unveiled a global tour spanning 29 dates across North America, the UK, Asia, and Australia, with stops in major cities including London, New York, Los Angeles, and Sydney.

‘Welcome To My World’ will be released on December 6 via Anjunadeep.

Winter / Cyan's Child" is the hot new two tracker from Michael Cassette, aka Matti Heininen and Erkka Lempiäinen. Over the last 12 months these two Finns have established themselves as the masters of 80's inspired melodic house music, first with Shadow's Movement, one of the highlights of SOS' excellent Balance compilation, and more recently with their remix of Paul Keeley's "A Sort Of Homecoming", which stormed the Beatport charts and picked up BBC Radio One airplay on James Zabiela's Glastonbury Essential Mix.

Winter is a real feelgood gem, with 80's synths and riffs riding bareback across a magical, goose-bump inducing groove. Cyan Child is a more intense affair and sounds like a natural follow up to last year's debut single "Zeppelin", picking up a huge reaction when road-tested at the pair's recent performance at Ministry of Sound.

With this new single and another EP lined up on on Anjunadeep under their Komytea guise, not to mention a monster bootleg in the works, it looks set to be a big year for Michael Cassette…
