AUST brings his Future-inspired, forward-thinking sound to Enhanced Chill again with fabulous two-track EP 'The Hive'.

The Swiss producer has cultivated a singular sound in the world of experimental electronic music, bringing his tracks to life and giving them genuine motion with his intricate production style. 'The Hive' quivers in and out of focus, with airy vocal chops and tumbling percussion giving the track a unique, pulsating vibe, while on 'Croix D'Or' he channels Flume-inspired synths and raucous hand claps to propel the song forward.

The EP title refers to the new place we live in. It’s a tinny house surrounded by wild nature where I recorded some sounds that appears on both songs. 

I’ve also just built a secondary studio there with a focus on new inspiration. The place was full of bees during the summer (which is unfortunately uncommon those days) and the chorus of the EP title track was making me think of a hive. - AUST

The Clock

"Free" channels inspiration from my grandfather who grew up in the Faroe Islands. He told me stories of the amazing land, how they climbed cliffs to get bird eggs, and would go fishing out at sea. "Free" aims to capture this feeling of adventure and openness in a song. The remix by @marley-carroll does an amazing job at capturing the elements of the original but taking it to a new danceable space. The driving beat, syncopated synthesizers, and fresh vocal chops make for an exciting new listen.

From the remixing artist, "For the "Free" remix, I borrowed a technique from house music in which uptempo songs are pitched down by a few semitones and reworked as slow-motion boogie edits. This process created a new stretched-out feel that inspired me to build a hazy, chilled-out instrumental around the original vocal." - Marley Carroll
