Jordan Michael Noel Morrison Hendricks was born in Dallas, TX and has lived in both Kansas and currently Las Vegas. His inspirations derive mostly from the collection of CD's he got from the library. These include: The Helio Sequence, Okkervil River, The Shins, and many more. Jordan is also a fan of live musical theater and incorporates much of that style into his music as well as including unconventional noises and sounds that you might otherwise hear walking down the street. His new name, "Runaway Carnie," is an implication of both folk and carnival style music. He regularly performs on the Las Vegas strip and released FREE EP's and demo's of his work. Phillip Sandifer is a writer, recording artist and music producer.  He has recorded with such artists as Jennifer Warnes, Billy Crockett, Bob Bennett and Michele Wagner and written music for Glen Campbell, Fernando Ortega, Bob Bennett and others. He has participated on recordings distributed by EMI, Disney, BMG and Warner Music Group and more recently Wider Sky Music.

Phillip was born in Baltimore, MD but moved to Dallas, TX as a youth. He attended Highland Park High School (University Park, TX), Auburn University (Auburn, AL) and the University of Texas at Austin where he received a degree in History. He holds Masters degrees from Clemson University (Clemson, SC) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton, MA) and a Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary.
