It all began 23 years ago, in a small town of Copenhagen, a natural talent was developing, and was about to discover his first sense of performing in front of an audience. 

That day was a special day, family and friends had gathered around to listen to his first ever concert.   The year before, his mother discovered that he had a talent for piano and a natural ear for harmonics, so she decided to bring in a privat piano teacher to teach him the basics of music. 

Back to the concert day, 9 years old, Benjamin was exited and nervous, but still managed it without freezing up, and performed. And then - applaus. The joy he felt, the love and the excitement from the audience filled him with so much happiness, and passion for this new found love in music, and from that moment on he knew he had to pursue music in some shape or form, and that experience led him onto the road of making his own music.

Fast forward 6 years, in 2005 at the age of 15, he stumbled upon FL Studio 5, and his musical journey began. The first couple of years of making music, it was mostly made in fun, with his dreams of performing growing bigger and bigger.

His productions evolved around Hardstyle the first couple of years, though he experimented with many other genres. And in 2014 he debuted with his track “Instincts” under his first alias “Anon”, and things took off quickly. 

He got signed at Joel Rowdy’s label “Danish Dynamite” the following year, and his first EP “This Isn’t Real” was a huge success and his popularity took off. People were exited by his originality and that his music was so different. 

He made 8 other unreleased tracks, untill 2017 when he met Morten Granau, who offered Benjamin to remix his track “Fuzzy Monkey” - Morten was blown away by the result and his remix was released on Spin Twist Records the following year. The track ended up at place #25 on Beatport Psytrance Top 100 after only a few days. 

Since then, Benjamin has released 8 other major tracks with Spin Twist, and has now joined the massive Spin Twist Records Rooster. He has also released music on Bluetunes Records together with Naturalize, and on Balbalab Records with his most popular solo track “Liquid Blue”.

He has the support of some of the greatest names in the scene. Vini Vici has played two of his tracks on their radio podcast “Dreamstate Radio”, and Morten Granau still plays his “Fuzzy Monkey” remix to this day. 

With his mesmerizing and captivating soundscapes, his unique approach to progressive psytrance, and his orchestral and cinematic compositions, he does his best to give back that happiness, passion and love he experienced on that fateful day, and It is safe to say that Second Sun, is on the rise.

Following on from the success of their last single 'Love Will Always Be The End' which was championed by BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson, THE DASH - London's messy haired and sharp-heeled answer to The Ramones, Stooges and New York Dolls - have just returned from taking their adrenaline-fuelled live show throughout the continent.

Notorious for leaving the stage in a storm of broken bones, hearts and guitars and having already played alongside such acts as Morrissey, Patti Smith, Prince, Biffy Clyro, Dirty Pretty Things' Carl Barat, The Gossip, Black Lips and even on request of Mighty Boosh, IT Crowd star Matt Berry, THE DASH were personally asked by KITTY DAISY & LEWIS to support them on their month-long jaunt, which saw the band play to over 35,000 people.

THE DASH spent 2014 recording with legendary producer Brian O'Shaughnessy (Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine) and also found time to support Babyshambles in front of thousands, collaborate and headline Iggy Pop festival IGGYFEST with Blockheads, Madness, PJ Harvey and Tom Waits right-hand man Terry Edwards, play chaotic underground parties in Europe and front their own packed-out residencies in London.

Born from experiences with Balinese culture and its ethos, Warung serves as a profound inspiration for the sound and project of Aaron Hopkins and Dillon Ames. Both Aaron and Dillon decided to set aside their solo endeavors to cultivate something rich together, aiming to create an organic music identity reminiscent of family businesses in Bali.
Now in its seventh year, Warung is garnering attention from top labels and brands worldwide, including a continued partnership with the Anjunadeep label and releases with notable names like Armada, This Never Happened, Insomniac and Shen. Over the past seven years, they have achieved numerous chart positions on Beatport, including a six-month stint at #1 on the Breaks chart with their record "Illusive."
Warung recently celebrated milestones such as their first Anjunadeep Open Air event in NYC and their third year at The Explorations Festival in Albania. They have been supported and championed by numerous tastemakers, including Sasha, Korolova, Pete Tong, Bicep, Paul Van Dyk, Tiësto, Sub Focus, Armin van Buuren, Tale of Us, and Deep Dish. Their records have charted on Beatport and received airplay on BBC Radio 1, KCRW LA, NPR, and Sirius XM.
With a strong trajectory in the music industry, Warung is poised to make a lasting impact and shows no signs of slowing down. An identity continues to be built, a culture shared, and an ethos realized.


While riding mopeds through busy Bali intersections, one half of this duo was intrigued by an Indonesian word that appeared on almost every street corner – “Warung.” Meaning “small family-run business,” it quickly became apparent how intrinsic these Warungs were to the culture: self made, the lifeline of the family, and an ever-lasting legacy to carry forth. 
 
The concept of Warung couldn’t have been a better inspiration for their sound and project. These two decided to forego their solo projects and together cultivate something rich, from the ground up, with the intention of starting an organic music identity.  The development continues, and with each groove constructed they push forward into a new space, learning to blend old with new. Two years later, Warung knows their way around the studio and is ready to bring more dance-floor-ready house to a thriving scene by blending old with new.
