michaelisntcool is the genre-defying solo project of Windsor-based artist Michael, whose music lives at the intersection of vulnerability and experimentation. Since launching in 2019 with early collaborations alongside Shyfox, michaelisntcool has evolved from studio sessions to fully self-produced releases—vaulting his early catalog to carve out a sound that’s unmistakably his own.

Drawing from a wide spectrum of influences, michaelisntcool blends hyperpop, R&B, metalcore, retrowave, and emo rap, often layering dreamy synths with distorted guitars, glitchy beats, and emotionally raw vocals. His tracks feel like sonic moodboards—each one a different shade of heartbreak, nostalgia, or existential wonder.

While he explores the musical landscape solo, collaboration remains a core part of his creative DNA. He’s a member of the yungpunkclique collective, where he’s pushing boundaries, experimenting with new sounds, and connecting with artists who share his vision.
