Today on the Matt Walsh Show, Media Matters and some others on the Left were upset by my analysis of the modern dating scene. Apparently, I’m told, my point of view on the subject is old fashioned and reactionary. They’re not necessarily wrong about that. Also, a truck carrying infected monkeys from a lab escaped from their cages during a highway accident. Why are these labs allowed to dump pathogens all over the globe without any consequence? And Robert F Kennedy Jr made a holocaust analogy during his speech at the anti-mandate protest on Sunday. Yesterday his own wife came out and denounced him for it. Plus, Kamala Harris lists the most vulnerable victim groups in America. The list seems to have expanded to encompass every group except one. And Hollywood actor Peter Dinklage says that the dwarves in Snow White are offensive. The story only gets dumber from there.

Ep. 881 - Media Matters Doesn’t Like My Dating Advice

This recording follows the inspiration of the Disquiet Junto Project 0537 (see below): How could a apologetic car horn sound like ?
The track presents a quiet side street, its atmosphere augmented by different musical elements. Some cars apologize for driving by and disrupting the calm by sounding their apologetic melody, and in the end this horn melody leads a life of its own.

Apologetic Conveyance (Disquiet0537)

By premonition/intuition, I knew this week's Haiku Challenge would feature the moon. As part of a project I'm working on ('Disquiet, Still'), I'm revisiting 4 track recordings I made in the late 1980s, and this was originally a song called 'Mr Moonlight In Person'. Here, I've improvised four synth lines via Garagband and added them for a stereo surround moonlit experience.

Hōsai graduated from the Tokyo Imperial University, where he studied law. He got off to a good start but decided to give up his home, family, and business to jump from one militant religion of Japan to the other.

Just like Taneda Santoka, Hōsai abandoned the traditional verse form of his time and mostly looked at the austere confines of his life for inspiration.

My dogs are barkin, let’s put it in park and
Stop kickin up dust down a one way road
We’ll make our mark when, we’re no longer apart my friend

I found a spot, I think it’s worth a shot
A place where dreams grow right in your garden

This track was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0568: Make music illustrating how the piano chord C6/9 can silence nightmares - a result of recent sleep research.
This is the soundscape of a nightmare - created by strangely modulated instruments, just like thoughts are transformed in nightmares, that turns into the soothing sound of sleep, a piano playing in Morpheus' Realm of the chord C6/9.
