Lana Cavalli is a talented DJ/Producer who's commitment to making and playing good quality beats coupled with her inspiring performances behind the decks is continuing to attract serious attention across the globe. With her exciting brand of house/tech house/techno infused with tribal/latino beats, Lana is selective with where she plays and stays faithful to her sound. 
 
Half Scottish, half Sicilian, this former Miss Scotland grew up in the west end of Glasgow and her love of dance music was born in the 90’s, watching the likes of Digweed and Sasha tear up Renaissance at the Tunnel, although it was many nights spent at the infamous Subclub with its cool underground vibe that influenced her most musically.
Her first full year in the industry as a pro, 2010 proved to be a hugely productive year for Lana. Having quickly gained support from many fans appreciative of her sound, she repeatedly treated house music lovers to rocking performances at intimate gigs as well as packed crowds at larger venues both in the UK and Internationally. 
Having kicked the summer off in style playing at the Midlands sunset party which had a crowd of 1500 revellers, Lana went on to play a tour across India which was a great success, with crowds lapping up her hypnotic vibrant techy beats. She left the clubbers there wanting more and has an even larger tour of Asia Scheduled for 2011. 
Having played various gigs across the UK, Lana closed the summer with a stint in the White Isle, playing at luxury boat parties and finishing up with the Pulse tour, closing at the cool Sands Ibiza beach club gracing the same decks as Pete Tong, Matthias Tanzmann, Tania Vulcano, Deadmaus and Carl Cox to name a few.
As well as proving popular for her consistently powerful sets as a DJ, Lana is just as dedicated to producing quality music. This was reflected in the success of her début release - Slave to the Sheikh which was supported by some big names and achieved a top 15 position in the download charts. 
 
So look out for Lana Cavalli in 2011 as she looks set to build on last years success with many exciting projects on the horizon and the future releases of some massive tracks.
