but Michael Hedges inspired me by his expression and style  as and atrist  that and many other influencehas has given me my own open & wide spectrum of the Musical instrumental range i like.

Maygen & The Birdwatcher are line-blurring Americana group making music through contrast. In many respects, Maygen Lacey and Noah Neumann couldn’t be more different. From upbringing and musical taste to physical location, there are few things these two agree on. The short list includes: sarcasm, the great outdoors, quality beer, a Delta twist on their music, and that love is always the answer. Maygen & Noah draw on their distinctly differing musical influences including Brandi Carlile, Florence and the Machine, Susan Tedeschi, and Balmorhea to create a listening experience that explores parenthood, youth, family, addiction, loss and navigating the people that have been put into our lives. There is heartbreak and hope intertwined throughout. The ever-swirling contradictions and affirmations between these two singer songwriters combine to create a compelling debut EP entitled “The People We Don’t Choose,” best absorbed outside, where your thoughts have room to breathe.
