My name is Antaares, im a musician from Mexico City.
The music i make speaks about balance and symmetry, trying to find the perfect mix of sounds to have a positive effect on you, the listener.

I almost never dedicated myself to playing music, rather I downloaded my first sequencer when I was 10 years old. I began to experiment my whole life, I am currently 18 years old and I think I have just started my career as a producer and artist.

My music is instrumental as of now, but i wold love to sing and put a verbal message into the songs. They already transmit a message about what I think and feel every day. It is not a message as such but rather it is a form of cognitive communication that my words will never be able to say. As a singer I would probably find a way to define with words what I do today with Synthesizers.

A new artist collective will be gracing the nightlife scene this April, as five of melodic dance music’s leading talents combine their efforts under a single, unified banner. Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko make up Scenarios, the collective, record label and event series. The label’s inaugural release takes the form of the two-track Here To Stay EP. The first instalment sees three of the five members collaborate on Here To Stay, a meandering, emotionally-charged offering packed full of poignant chords and textured drum patterns throughout. It feels introspective and danceable in one, paving the way for a similarly moving number in the form of You & I, Paradise. This time DUDDHA’s mesmeric vocals create an achingly beautiful soundscape, one that winds with a gentle lucidity through resonant synths and a driving lead bassline. Individually, they are known as Maga, Sean Doron, Yulia Niko, Tim Engelhardt and Emanuel Satie, each of whom are established performers in their own right. Together, they become Scenarios. Their mantra is simple: to create and implement a unique genre of music, one that offers an unparalleled event experience. As a collective, their beliefs and outlooks are shared - allowing them to truly grow as one whilst maintaining their individuality as independent artists. Born in France and now based in Portugal, Maga’s discography boasts releases on some of dance music's most widely recognised labels, including Flying Circus and Get Physical. Israel’s Sean Doron has found a welcome home on Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion imprint over the years, whilst his Monochrome event series continues to go from strength to strength. Cologne’s Tim Engelhardt is a mainstay of iconic German label Stil Vor Talent, as well as Watergate Records, Innervisions, Diynamic and more.

Baby Rollén’s Slump Recordings imprint gets ready to release the debut, full length EP from Stuttgart based producer and DJ, mpeg.

Having released single tracks on seminal underground labels including Haŵs and Wex, both for Ukrainian war aid compilations - amongst a slew of incredible other artists; mpeg is swiftly becoming a name on the European underground network. With his tracks already in the hands of DJs including Demi Riquisimo, Eris Drew and more - the young talent steps towards the release of the False Flat EP, his premiere extended player.

Spanning across four original tracks and one remix from the label founder Baby Rollén, mpeg outlines and his hypnotic take on house music with injections of his other influences from breaks to 2-step. The False Flat EP epitomises is his skill of blurring the lines between dance music‘s sub genres, encapsulating a coherent sound that traverses across the entire record.

The heavy subs and mezmerising percussion of Slot 16 contrasts the delicate musicality of later tracks including Wirepad or Orbit Rework. An expanse of production knowledge built for the dancefloor from this burgeoning new talent. Baby Rollén’s remix ventures into a heads-down UK underground sonic, where Slot 16 transforms into a sweaty warehouse breaks ride, teeming with suspense.

Vitalik are an Ibiza based musical collective who have been instrumental in the balearic free party scene. They also held strong ties with We Love Space, collaborating on various events over the years and releasing music on Vitalik Recordings from artists like The Mole, Jimmy Edgar, Appleblim and Martin Buttrich. Space was the place where this EP's featured artists met, both serving as long standing residents. 

Known for his pitched down sets on Space's Premier Etage, Ian Blevins forged his sound with an eclectic mix of balearic infused electronica. His recent signing to New Yorks ESP institute has served as an outlet for his more esoteric musical leanings, debut Hannibal EP receiving much critical acclaim. However it's Monday afternoon's passed in DC10 that inspired the music on this EP. 

‘3031’ kicks things off with serious intentions, it's burly filtered bass line circles under spectral sweeps and a thick, forceful clap. 'The Road to Carrer D'Enmig' follows with an infectious groove punctuated by cheeky irregular drum fills and woozy, off-kilter keys. The final track ‘Weather Bombs’ a slow atmospheric builder, it's resonant filtered pads building the tracks suspense. Ryan O Gorman under his Soulade moniker offers up two revisions of ‘Weather Bombs’ which utilise the powerful synths and dramatic snare fills and adding gnarly undulating sub bass line, steering the tenor of the original into darker territory and capping off another solid addition to the Vitalik catalogue.
