opening the night for @ivylab 's infinite falling ground part ii tour when it touched down in vancouver. nods to @oakkmusic and gov, lakehills, oliver.

i was asked to play a chill opening set and this is what i came thru with. listening back to this mix actually brings me back a bit to the beginnings of how & why i got into djing in the first place. it feels like a more classic style where you can really hear the layering and what's going on. a bit more straight up and simple.

literally one of the best feeling events in east van for 2024. vibes were absolutely electric. room was rammed. dancefloor freaking out. old school, new school and next school junglist confluence.

sully destroyed and fully delivered, as expected. all djs did, all night. the energy *still* remains tangible from this night.

i figured since i've taken forever to release other bass coast sets before -> i'm releasing this one *right away*. jungle in the center, with a healthy amount of sidequests. thanks to each and everyone who showed up. i see you all.

a few tech slips happened like my dub siren (monotron) not working and the third cdj not working right as i started (tech folks, who were excellent, swapped it out immediately tho), ..and that made me not want to touch the mic like i would have and switched what kind of selections i made a bit too. i am *GOOD* with what i did tho and i feel a true 90's jungle spirit in some moments of the recording (which is one of the things that i was aiming at - so mission accomplished).

big up all the artists who's music was played. and thanks to meggy and ray who encouraged me to go jungle a few days before.
