Butterscotch, the vocal percussionist virtuosa, uses her powerful voice to defy gender and music social constructs. She began her career in the underground male-dominated beatbox battle scene, where she was crowned the world's first female beatbox champion. Butterscotch blends Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul and Reggae and her shows are emotionally and physically invigorating with her trifecta fusion of singing, beatboxing, and playing either piano or guitar simultaneously, or creating endless layers on her loop station. With a voice reminiscent of Billie Holiday and rap verses comparable to Lauryn Hill, Butterscotch courageously sings about her love life, depression, and daily struggles of being a biracial queer woman of color. Her philanthropic mission is to empower and elevate people through music and compassion.   

Butterscotch has opened up for Erykah Badu, Earth, Wind & Fire, Thievery Corporation, Sergio Mendes, Wyclef Jean and other musical legends.

Armslice aka J. Slice IX Esq. aka Dr. Slice Lite aka Josh Pitt aka Slice. Born in Berkeley, raised by hippies and wolves, schooled by the Sucka Free City. 

Deriving his name from a stab wound suffered on the school yard at the age of six, Armslice began making music with his brothers at age 13, back in 1998. The music was always a family affair and a unique expression of the their life growing up and dealing with the lames and their bs, and the culture shock of having been born and raised in Berkeley and Oakland, and moved to Fairfax in Marin where true Hip Hop was rare and wack rappers ran rampant. After years of making music just for fun, Armslice took a break to pursue a career in media productions and live events. Finally, as a sound engineer at the Boom Boom Room, Armslice took on the simplified monicker of Slice-Nine and later J. Slice IX, and began organizing a cypher that would turn into the strongest weekly Hip Hop event of it's kind since it's inspirational predecessor, the Royal Sessions in North Beach, years before. Slice is currently focused on his primer solo album, "By The Slice" a swirling compilation of beats and rhymes that span all the years of his artistic development.
