Bill frequently writes about global warming, alternative energy, and the risks associated with human genetic engineering. Beginning in the summer of 2006, he has been at the forefront of organizing and leading the largest civil demonstrations against global warming in history. George Monbiot is a journalist, author, academic & environmental & political activist in the United Kingdom who writes a weekly column for The Guardian newspaper.
