Opening the crown chakra is a great way to meditate and liberate yourself from the physical world. It makes you feel blissful and stress-free inside where you can explore the depths of your own consciousness.

Full chakra balance from root to crown using specialized Solfeggio harmonics in multiple octaves. Each chakra goes for 7 minutes. If you are not sure about chakras they are energetic centers in the body that associate to different frequencies and organs. These chakras can go out of balance due to situations in our daily lives, for example if someone has an emotional trauma, their heart chakra may not function fully for a while and requires healing. Below you will find a brief description of each chakra.

In an event co-hosted with the British Library, five fellow biographers, all of whom have been garlanded with awards and prizes, gather to celebrate his eightieth birthday.

Patrick French is the author of biographies of Younghusband and V.S. Naipaul; his next subject is Doris Lessing. Richard Holmes’s subjects include Shelley, Coleridge, Mary Wollstonecraft and the scientists of the Romantic period; he is currently writing about Ada Lovelace. Earlier this year, Ruth Scurr followed her biography of Robespierre with a life of John Aubrey – described by Hilary Mantel as 'a book to reread and cherish'. Jenny Uglow’s subjects include Elizabeth Gaskell, Hogarth, the engraver Thomas Bewick, and the pioneering group the Lunar Men; she is working on a biography of Edward Lear. In a discussion chaired by Hermione Lee, who has written lives of Virginia Woolf, Edith Wharton and Penelope Fitzgerald, and who is working on a biography of Tom Stoppard, they pay tribute to Holroyd’s achievements, and explore aspects of the biographer’s craft.

Yoga-nidra was experienced by Swami Satyananda Saraswati[citation needed] when he was living with his guru Swami Sivananda in Rishikesh. He began studying the tantric scriptures and, after practice, constructed a system of relaxation, which he began popularizing in the mid 20th century.[3] He explained yoga-nidra as a state of mind between wakefulness and sleep that opened deep phases of the mind, suggesting a connection with the ancient tantric practice called nyasa, whereby Sanskrit mantras are mentally placed within specific body parts, while meditating on each part (of the bodymind). The form of practice taught by Swami Satyananda includes eight stages (Internalisation, Sankalpa, Rotation of Consciousness, Breath Awareness, Manifestation of Opposites, Creative Visualization, Sankalpa and Externalisation).

Teachers such as Osho[4] and Anandmurti Gurumaa define yoga-nidra as a state of conscious deep sleep. One appears to be sleeping but the unconscious mind is functioning at a deeper level: it is sleep with a trace of deep awareness. In normal sleep we lose track of our self but in yoga nidra, while consciousness of the world is dim and relaxation is deep, there remains an inward lucidity and experiences may be absorbed to be recalled later. 

..." the ultimate state of yoga nidra in which the conventional barriers between waking, dreaming and deep sleep are lifted, revealing the simultaneous operation of the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind. The result is a single, enlightened state of consciousness and a perfectly integrated and relaxed personality."
