Resident DJ at Munich's legendary Atomic Café (the smart club./Britwoch) from 2009 to 2014. Currently playing at Cord Club in Munich. I've played SXSW (German House), fashion shows (Premium Berlin), festival stages (Taubertal Steinbruch w/ Shantel & Frittenbude, Munich Spring Festival w/ K.I.Z.'s DJ Craft, Club Festival Traunstein w/ Schlachthofbronx) and the X-Games (Tony Hawk VIP Event and contests) but I also enjoy playing venues where people dance to more subtle stuff. I like my sets eclectic w/ quite a bit of unexpected stuff - as long as the dancefloor digs it. Four years after his last release as Hauschka, composer Volker Bertelmann returns to City Slang for his new effort “PHILANTHROPY”. While touching on the work of musical innovators, such as Erik Satie and John Cage, Hauschka reimagines the potential of the prepared piano for the 21st century, a technique that involves inserting objects between the instrument’s strings or onto its hammers to expand its sonic and operative possibilities.
