DEEPSOUTH Sessions Episode 013

Michael Sutton is a DJ and producer from Cape Town, South Africa, known for his deep, groove-driven take on Melodic and Deep House. His sets weave rhythm and melody into immersive journeys, defined by a distinctive groove and melodic depth.

In 2025, Michael completed his second European tour with performances at Café del Mar, Hyde, and Cala Bassa in Ibiza, as well as Macarena and Purobeach in Barcelona. This followed his debut tour in 2024, which featured performances across the UK, Spain, and Mauritius.

At home, Michael holds a residency at Cape Town’s iconic Grand Africa Café & Beach and is the founder and curator of The Stranded Experience, a sunset party series that is steadily building a reputation for its intimate and immersive atmosphere.

As a producer, he releases regularly on Personal Belongings, a Barcelona-based label celebrated for its beach-friendly deep house, where he continues to craft music that reflects his storytelling approach to sound.

Michael Sutton is committed to shaping a sound defined by depth, groove, and melody—music made for meaningful moments on the dancefloor.
