Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.
In our fifth music journey we’ve got some amazing recordings by traditional African tribes. Africa’s music tradition is one of the richest traditions in the world combining a huge portion of different styles, rhythms, voices and music instruments. Without a doubt Africa is probably the motherland of all sounds as music floats forwards and backwards to the continent (bringing back influences from other traditions) throughout the years of slavery and flourish into a unique and amazingly beautiful outcome. For this journey we’ve invited four quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. The end result is purely magic as we travel from Greece to Italy and from Germany to USA with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Anber, Ka:lu, M.Age.Poroject and Veytik are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Dig deep and you’ll find a world of mysticism, contradictions and pure, crystal clear beautiful sounds!

The Magic Movement is happy to welcome Swedish artist Anton Kling with a full EP on their label. After his mesmerizing single „You“, which he contributed to a Various Artist release last spring, he's finally back in full force with his Phobos EP.

On remix duties for „Phobos“ we find Alex Banks, who made a name for himself on Alex Cooper's Mesh imprint, and who is a perfect fit for the track Phobos. Praised by the likes of BBC Radio 6 and Mixmag as well as with work released on Monkeytown and Ninja Tune, Alex turns „Phobos“ into a bass heavy broken beat bonanza, featuring hypnotic arpeggios and saturated lead synths.

The EP, which will be out on March 31st, contains atmospheric originals, full of warm and almost jazzy synth work, syncopated rhythms and haunting vocal snippets. There's a beautifully melancholic red line which flows through the EP. His passion for ambient music and lo-fi textures is clearly audible in every track, where spacious soundscapes meet gritty percussion sounds.

Noctambulism is arguably the most grounded track on the EP, rooted in a lush, fictional jungle. It opens with a soundscape of birds and insects, recorded in various real-world locations and then drastically transformed, pitched, multiplied, and phase-shifted to create a surreal and uncanny environment.

This living mass becomes an autonomous space, a sonic ecosystem crossed by organic sound objects. A modified citation from the track Tui’s Garden (from the previous album Taihua) acts as an anchor, pitched downward, it functions like the memory of a living organism that has mutated.

At the heart of this sci-fi setting lies a subtle, continuous rhythmic motif, a fake maraca crafted from insect sounds — slowly leading into the second part. More structured and melodic, this section reintroduces DX7 pads and harmonic experiments derived from field recordings, forming a kind of immersive trance.

At the intersection of field recording, IDM, and synthwave, Noctambulism charts a slower path through the forest, just before the dance resumes in the next track.

Narowé es el primer hombre en la tierra en la cultura amazónica Peruana, pero lo es después de la primer mujer. 
Para mí, este Ep es un principio también, es el comienzo de una visión en la que veo música con ojos mas consciente, me tomo el tiempo para encontrar el elemento que me provoque pasión al oírlo y así ir creando cada una de las canciones que propongo sin presión. 

Sin lugar a dudas disfrute mucho de la creación de esta música porque el tiempo de las canciones tiene la cadencia necesaria para para jugar en libertad. con melodías extensas y eso es lo que me lleva a vibrar y fluir en el espacio que mas me gusta !

Narowé é o primeiro homem a pousar na cultura Amazônica Peruana, mas é após a primeira mulher. 
Para mim, este EP é um princípio também, é o início de uma visão em que eu vejo a música com os olhos mais conscientes, eu tomar o tempo para encontrar o elemento que me provoca paixão de ouvir e, assim, ser a criação de cada uma das canções proponho sem pressão. 

Sem dúvida, realmente apreciei criar estas músicas, porque as canções têm cadência tempo necessária para jogar gratuitamente. Com melodias extensas e isso é o que me faz vibrar e fluir no espaço que eu gosto!
