Music has been the propelling force of Kat’s inspiration and creativity since 2018 when she experienced her first underground warehouse show in her hometown of Durham, NC. Although music had always had a large impact in her life, this single event drove her to uncover her passion for sharing music and curating experiences for others. It was a deep driving bassline that caught her attention when she fell in love with electronic music, and now it’s a signature in her live sets. Although Kat typically sticks to techno and house, she consistently branches into new genres to explore elements of every sound and develop an ever growing palette. It is through the magic of the universal elements that she is able to explore different sounds with a purpose and vision. Delivering exquisite energy to the dance floor through beautiful melodies and deep, thumping techno basslines, she plays emotionally connected to her tracks. Kat believes that music is intentional, whether it’s the vibrations we feel or the lyrics we hear. If you listen closely you’ll notice a theme that’s built into her track selections. As Kat translates this energy into the decks with precision, she creates a unique experience all her own.
