Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Mike Storm' gem on 'Axis'.
Perhaps the best place to start is considering what is essential for a language, and what an alien might leave out of theirs. 
We suggests that a language only really needs two things: a symbolic system that can be recombined to represent meaning, and some method of conveying those symbols.

Alien languages might not necessarily be audible or based on an alphabetical or logographic visual element. 
It could be the transmission of light, sound or chemicals. 
If the language was somehow hardcoded into the alien DNA or genetic analogue (assuming their biology includes a concept similar to genetics), the language would not be learned through culture, and therefore far less adaptable to situations like meeting another species. 
This line of thought is admittedly close to the edge of what might be considered language but is interesting to consider nonetheless.

So, if communication through written language and deciphering an alien one could prove impossible, could a new language be created for the specific purpose of talking to aliens?

Born in Naples and living in Berlin since 2011.

Developed his passion for music when he got his hands on with his first vinyl records and turntables at young age. The passion soon grew into a deep love for old house music.
He kept following the path of music that finally led him to the sounds of techno.
Fascinated by the sound of Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Steve Rachmad and more, experimenting and developing his skills for years and expanding his love for techno also to the Dj side, using various synthesizers to create new and strong sounds, the upcoming musician is trying to keep the soul in to techno, wandering between various genres and never standing still. He constantly keeps exploring and building up his very own handwriting in electronic sounds, without skipping the good House Music.

Owner of the live streaming project No Signal based in Berlin and also party-maker since 2014. Joined Mixworks roaster Agency in 2018 and released his first records on Estetika and 4trks from Dj Hyperactive in Chicago and launched his label " No Signal Records" in 2021.
