@xarte01 started in 2020 and his style has evolved into hypnotic and minimal grooves that aim to captivate the dancefloors. This has led him to achieve a residency in a small club in Amsterdam, where he’s slowly making a name for himself in the scene.  To showcase his sound and ideas he has assembled this mix to lure the listener into his sonic world.

On this first release on Lømsk Records, four characterful & sly tracks reside.

Starting with “Greven”, its focus is on an eroding & melodic synth line, with pulsating & abundant drums and clattering hi-hat patterns. Next comes “Skamsen” twisting things with wriggle-inducing detuned polyrhythmic sequences & straight machine funk. With the two tracks on the B-side, things take a shifty turn with the first one being the nervous “Svett”, a sweaty energy entity with haunting reverse elements. The record rounds off with “40W”, a hysterical action-filled no-nonsense track rooted in classic dance-floor action.

Lømsk Records, masterminded by Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell, is dedicated to our own musical output, is firmly rooted in the mindset and spirit of utilizing a somewhat playful & mischievous, but always genuine, approach to the concept of underground dance music and as a label.
