I believe it all began at the age of 16. My name is Richard Lopez. I am the Producer, Director and lead guitarist of the “One Accord Band”. Born in the city that is known as the “The City That Never Sleeps”, New York. My parents moved to the garden state of New Jersey and settled in Jersey City. It was there that I received many lessons of music by sitting in the pews and watching countless musicians share and display their gifts and talents and there was where I learned to admire them and longed to one day share the gifts and talents that God had so graciously bestowed upon me.

Coming from a long line of musicians in my family, it was only a matter of time before I would pick up a guitar and follow in their footsteps. Not only because I was a descendent of wonderful musicians but because God had a purpose and a plan with my life to worship him with my gifts and to lay it all down at his feet. 

In 2003, “One Accord Band was formed as a production band with the purpose of assisting established recording artist that wanted to make a difference in the Latin American Christian Industry. After many venues and at the request of many, we decided to commit ourselves in becoming 
not only an accompanying band but a hands on ministerial and live 
performing band. We are currently working on our soon to be released musical project featuring various Latin Christian artists such as 
Any Puello, Helen R., Sammy Navarro, Lissette Fuentes, Maribel Figueroa and others. One accord Band plays a variety of music and genres such as Latin, Jazz, R&B and Pop. I am honored to say that I have been blessed and inspired and have had the privilege to have been surrounded
and have worked side by side with many great musicians and singing artists.

“One Accord Band” strives towards excellence. Our passion and vision is to embrace and envelope all that are able to hear our distinctive sound and promote a spirit of praise and worship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

As a man who has been called by God to lead “One Accord Band” I can
honestly say that I am grateful for all that God has done in my life and I find that as I lay my gift down at his feet and the praises go 
up the blessings continuously descend.
