Brendan Ruys has been a steadfast presence in Melbourne’s music scene for over a decade. A relative latecomer to DJing, he spent years on the dance floor before making the transition to the other side of the decks and when you see Brendan in action it becomes clear that this uncommon path into DJing has left him with a unique understanding of what keeps a crowd moving.

Not a fan of constraining himself to a single genre, Brendan’s music spans across a spectrum of tech house, deep house and electronica, with an emphasis on quality tunes with plenty of groove. His career in the real world as a Mechanical Engineer gives him an innate ability to analyse and separate music that has been passionately constructed from an ever-increasing amount of generic, off-the-shelf productions and as a result his sets are never predictable and are sure to keep the audience engaged.
