An Antique toy buyer had said to me over the phone to "Bring me the Gun of Kit Carson" he knew I had obtained ...then he said rather jokingly that the phrase sounded like a good song title and that I should write a song about it ....well ....here ya go !

"ROOTS POP" is a term that I would best summarize my original compositions.  I founded my Band Loose Salute over a decade ago in which we pay homage to the Masterful work of Michael Nesmith . he along with artists such as the Beatles , Todd Rundgren, Matthew Sweet, Gene Clark and my love for Classic Country , 50's music and 60's Pop and Psychedelia and twinges of the great 90's "Alterna Pop Explosion (pavement, oasis) leads me to the term "Roots Pop"
