Casj has been performing since 2000 and recording since 2008. Raised primarily in Washington DC, Casj's style is a mixture of her DC life, UK upbringing, and love of jazz and classical musical crossovers. She's appeared in Ebony snd Essence magazine, along with various performances throughout Washington, DC and San Diego. 

Casj's songs are all freestyled and then recorded. "My songs come from the moment, so it's always about something I'm going through in that moment. Writing it out after the fact feels forced and doesn't capture the raw emotion."  -Casj.

Having been introduced to house music in 2013, LAMINR has honed his sound over the years through various eras of electronic dance music, transitioning from Big Room to Bass House, delving into UK Garage and Tech House; culminating in a style today that draws inspiration from multiple genres to provide a fresh take on house music.
