Big Fkn Robots vs Light Chaser - Melburners 2025 Purple Party

Stoked to share my dance journey collab with Energy in Motion from their chakra series with this throat chakra exploration. We started off the experience with a potent vocal activation by Grace who primed the dancers before my journey. Weaving in many tracks featuring vocals, I also added a bunch of live vocal loops, encouraging dancers to co-create vocal soundscapes with me for one of the most interactive and high-vibe experiences so far. Gratitude to Patty and Sharna for holding down this epic container and all who helped raise the roof on this dance journey, and many thanks for the wonderful feedback I received after we landed back in the space. Energy in Motion – throat chakra exploration 19.07.25

There is nothing quite like playing on a Sunday Morning for a dance church experience with my dance fam at Asheville Movement Collective. Especially when it is at the beautiful Warren Wilson College Pavilion!

Thank you for all the dedicated dancers who came and got down, and to all you digital listeners out there!

This set was inspired first by a poem I wrote (will share below!), and evolved into being guided by sacred sounds from around the world. It is my hopes it takes you to that sacred space within, where love is found <3

Each day a bit more held
A bit more solid
A bit more subtle
A little brighter & lighter
Each day, returning 
Surrender feels safer, softer now

Still buzzing after an incredibly fun Ecstatic Dance set for Energy in Motion at Centre of You, Melbourne their Heart Chakra edition 💚

This journey was all about dropping into joy, love, courage, play, and the pure fun of the heart.. letting go of the past, landing fully in presence and dancing into authenticity

I had an absolute blast mixing in fiery Latin and reggaeton flavours, alongside tracks that make you wanna jump, sweat, laugh and shake your booty! Honestly, one of my most joyful, heart-opening and playful sets yet! It was WILD! So much so everyone was screaming on the dance floor!!!

Energy In Motion | 3rd Eye | June 2025

The setting was the small town of Licola in Victoria. The Town Festival was arriving and we were transporteed back 3 decades, back to the 90's,  for better or for worse.  My brief for this set was to bring a downtempo vibe to lead into legend Tom Cosm for the close of the festival. Abit cheeky, but  I couldn't resist bringing the 90's energy up halfway through the set.  I hope you enjoy!  :P

Rock your body | The Town Festival 2024

A Black Rainbow is the optical phenomenon of low light suspended between the arc of parallel rainbows…and this mix is what that sounds like.  I feel it as a place over  a dance floor,  as a dark and dreamy environment; like a kelp bed where dancers moved with uniquely elastic expression and where the fluidity of somatic articulation became inseparable from the crepuscular rays of dappled sounds.  

The dark-in-the-light journey here is melt in your mouth and melt your body bass-scape. It imagines the sounds of molasses and glitter while it blends grit and glimmer. A through line of shifting tempos and textures is backed by a warm euphoria of moody, melancholy, sensuous, serpentine and occasionally, grimy bass. May the spectrum of sounds anchor each end of your rainbow.

Thank you to producer friends like An-ten-nae Mfinity, Arboreal, Bass Temple, AttyA, Ashez, Peace Sine, Skysia , Senza and DJs like  Haj & Kai, Reia and Qoi,  who pushed my own deep (crate) digging into realms of sound where many little known artists have recently impressed me In a big way.  Its a niche, esoteric sound I’m on the lookout for, for sure - but my entire musical life’s journey has always been rooted in the underground.  Surfacing now is this mix, a one-shot & one-take live set. I chose these tracks for the shape of their sound, their attitude, their tone, their  undefinable quality that feels right into my current sweet spot.
