On the vast, dusty plains of the planet Voxar live the Vocalite, a mysterious people in tune with the pulsating energy of the techno universe. Their homeworld is an endless desert of shimmering metallic sands, crisscrossed by glowing, neon rivers that light up the sky during the night.

The Vocalite are renowned for their ability to hear the vibrations of the universe and transform them into music. Their voices, sharp and clear as crystal, can control the elements, bringing the desert to life with endless, hypnotic rhythms. Legends say their melodies can bend time itself, stretching every single note into a never-ending dance that makes the heart of the desert beat in unison.

Deeply connected to the machines and technology that permeate their planet, they use sound waves and digital frequencies to shape their cities—floating metropolises of gleaming obsidian structures, where the hum of synthesizers is the language of the land. Every Vocalite carries a unique, glowing amulet that resonates with their personal frequency, harmonizing the pulse of the community.

The Vocalite follow an ancient code: "Only those who hear the rhythm of the cosmos can preserve balance." In their dances, which make the desert swirl with eternal motion, they find peace—and the eternity that only the techno universe can offer.  -   O ZERO

Jickow releases his lead and debut single "Pig Tails" on the well known Resopal label. The Belgium based producer has been at the heart of the minimal techno movement and is also a revered producer and performer who creates amazing sounds.
The original is a funky athmospheric track with wriggling synths executed in Jickows darker, more stripped back and abstract edges of the dancefloor. Add into the package are two outstanding remixes by Matt Sassari and Timid Boy. All in all an essential release for 2018

A mesmerizing trip from Krautland through Electronic Fields to Hypnotonia‒exploring the textures of haunting melodies, lucious dreamscapes and tribal, dancefloor-ready beats. After their highly acclaimed debut album “Im Klanggarten” (on Bigamo – label of Frank Wiedemann / Âme), this is Fred und Luna’s next fascinating step in their “Elektrokraut/Krautelektro” series.

Who are Fred und Luna?
"Fred und Luna" are two mannequins living in a fashion boutique in Karlsruhe, Germany. They serve as muse for musician, lector, poet and photo/video maker Rainer Buchmüller.
Inspired by his doll friends and his love for German electronic music of the past decades, Rainer Buchmüller under the alias “Fred und Luna” produces his self-created genres Elektrokraut and Krautelektro: both a modern combination of repetitive rhythms, beautiful melodies, electronic soundscapes and elements from the Krautrock era.
Under the name of “Ariston Baton” Rainer Buchmüller also writes and performs sound poems and concrete poetry. On live events and especially on exhibitions Ariston Baton is joining “Fred und Luna” and Rainer Buchmüller’s third identity “Vizudaru Nono”, who is contributing video and photo projections. Together they form the so called “Equipe Nadaphysique”. The next exhibition featuring all three named personalities will take place end of October 2018 at Rockomotives Festival, Vendôme/France.

A brief history of Fred und Luna
Having previously released the EP “Glück auf” on the Scottish label Optimo Music and being remixed by Prins Thomas for the Berlin label Innervisions, the year 2017 saw Fred und Luna feature their debut album “Im Klanggarten” on Frank Wiedemann’s (Âme, Howling) newly-founded label Bigamo Musik.

After the first editions of both the EP and LP being sold out quickly, live shows in Germany, France and England followed as well as remixes for Peter Pardeike (Connaisseur Recordings) and a common release with Trikk on Innervisions, among others.
A team-up with Achim Treu (UFO Hawaii) resulted in several remixes for international musicians.
