We can’t be angry at God,

the mindset of being paid is man made, 
you live forever through how you made them feel, 
Cause the flesh can’t be saved. 
Well that’s how I justify these days. 
I never been the one to cause a scene, 
too much esteem, 
in a whip that’s squeaky clean, 
even the seats look green.

Look in my face and see pain in my eyes some of the time. 
Shoulda been hate if you learned the demise of some of my guys

What’s filling a safe when you tryna survive. 
Ain’t know about savings but knew say in situations that could help us save our lives. 
Every night I sleep all I hear sirens 
so much that now they just blend in with silence, 
assuming it’s not someone tryna survive the violence, 
assuming it’s not no one I that know that is dying. Then check my timeline or just get a call that reminds me,
that all the assuming that I was doing was actually lying. 
Thank God I ain’t over drinking too 
or over eating or over sleeping  
I’m over thinking too. 
I know what I did and I know what I said.
I almost died a million times ,
I ain’t God was gone take my homies instead. 
I pray happiness not a luxury. 
I pray for peace for all those who have love for me. 
I pray to not  to debate if today is the day i bring guns with me. 
Black plight, is another day, and every other day looking ugly. 
But I know happiness on the horizon. 
Bad days end at midnight. 
Even if you lose track of the timing. 
Even if the same days keep rewinding. 
I know happiness is on the horizon.
