Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter.

In her late teen, she discovers Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well-kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds ;)

Since February 2015, Julie host her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and DJ/Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’

Za dnia spełnia się jako Visual Merchandiser; to miłośniczka zwierząt, podróży, książek i dobrego wina.
W nocy zatraca się w dźwiękach progressive house, melodic techno oraz techno. Jej sety to energiczna podróż o 3 rano pełna nieoczekiwanych zwrotów akcji, mocnych dropów oraz melodyjnych brejków. Ale gdy trzeba - wprowadzi Was w melancholijny, pełny różnorodnych emocji nastrój. 
Idąc krok dalej stworzyła własny cykl imprez pod nazwą Open Your Mind, gdzie unoszące melodie i  wizualizacje przenikają się przenosząc słuchacza do jej futurystycznej wizji przyszłości. 
Dea z muzyką jest związana od momentu gdy była w brzuchu mamy i ta słuchała Mozarta. Dorastała wśród wariacji taty na keyboardzie, a jej pierwszą miłością był klarnet, na którym grała 8 lat w orkiestrze dętej. Mawia, że muzyka daje jej możliwość wyrażania siebie i to jest jej sposób by 'porozmawiać' ze słuchaczami. 
Do tej pory swoją twórczość miała przyjemność zaprezentować w takich miejscach jak Hala Odra (Szczecin), Schron (Poznań), P29 (Łódź), LAS (Olsztyn), NRD (Toruń) oraz Mózg, Zakład? Klubokawiarnia, To2, Wiatrakowa (Bydgoszcz).
