Next up for our meanwhile moments series we are proud to present one of the world's finest DJ exponents of deep futuristic progressive house, Belgium's Eran Aviner.
As label head of Edge Records,  his infamous Edge events, and with a touring schedule around Eruope & beyond, Eran's set always speak to a woven tapestry into a journey of sound.
His "room service" sessions throughout the pandemic highlighted Eran's passion for his sound & sharing it with the world.
This set is a fantastic journey recorded live at the recent Extrema Festival in Belgium!

"Because absolutely nothing compares to music. This language, whose universal vibes can  be understood by anybody, connects people around the globe be it religions, cultures or ethnicity. Great tunes turn strangers into friends. One note expresses more emotions than a thousand words. Music goes on where words fall short. It simply touches your soul.   Born in Antwerp in 1982, Eran soon discovered his sense of rhythm and passion for sound. One sweet day, the cherished dream of creating his own music and becoming a DJ came true. EDGE was founded to bring party people, Dj’s and musical influences from different cultures and styles together. There is a geometry to these grooves, they feel like a sturdy frame against which a fabric of texture and melody can wave and morph.

Hard to believe it's been over a year since my last studio mix. A lot has happened since then, it's impossible to keep up. Yet at the same time I find myself frequently caught in moments of nothingness.

This mix does very little, and it also does a lot. Some of it's stripped, groove-focused, and lazy. But it transitions into something dense, complex, and anxious. My goal was to have each track reach a bit further than the last, leaving the listener to wonder where the hell we're all going. Sign of the times, in many ways.

Also happy to say this mix opens with a track from my upcoming collaboration EP with YokoO and another track from the release is a bit later in the mix. That EP comes out in a few days on YokoO's Satya label, and I'm quite proud of our work together on it.

Olga Misty first discovered her love for electronic music during her later school days.
A simple passion naturally evolved into the foundations for her journey into DJing from 2008.

Olga prefers emotional and heart touching music, with the rich & colourful tones of deeper progressive house at the core of her mixes & style.

Since 2011 Olga has run her own successful radio show known as "Ocean Planet", which has been broadcast to a loyal & constantly growing audience across the globe on Proton Radio and DI FM.
For more than 8 years many talented guests have joined the show, including Dmitry Molosh, GMJ, Subandrio, Dimuth K, Erich Von Kollar, Ewan Rill, East Cafe, Yuriy From Russia, LoQuai, Cream, Deep Fog, Robert R. Hardy, Deepsense and many more.

In 2020 Olga's musical reach has widened further with the launch of "Solace" on Frisky Radio, following on from a hugely successful slot on "Artist of the Week".

2020 has seen her come on board as label DJ for Meanwhile Recordings, the new digital label from GMJ & Matter, showcasing the finest in deep and progressive music from around the world.
