GE-OLOGY's ties with music were close from the start. After learning how to play the trumpet and starting collecting records at age 5, 6 years later GE-OLOGY’s interest in DJing and passion for music started rising to the heights he still beholds today. His interest in Hip-Hop brought him together with Tupac, Talib Kweli and Mos Def and later the Baltimore born, 80's New York City bred Renaissance man took the opportunity to produce for Jill Scott, De La Soul, Yukimi Nagano and Vinia Mojica and Jem. Yet, surprising to most, his dance floor oriented music dates back to the same time.

This masterful music producer, skilled DJ, and equally gifted visual artist has been acclaimed internationally for over two decades, however he remains somewhat of a mystery, letting his music and his mixes speak for themselves. To GE-OLOGY, music is something spiritual which reaches his soul and is inseparable from his being. This ethos is clearly emulated in his music, always digging deeper and weaving diverse music genres that coalesce to inspire soulful movement on the dance floor.

VOODOOMEN nace en el año 1997 del desprendimiento de dos bandas de cierto renombre en el under porteño, Exhibición Atroz y Abaxial. Forman parte del proyecto Gustavo Esnaola Moro y Gabriel Mateos (productor de Volador G, Gusz y St. Grial). A mediados de 1998, después de un periodo de experimentación y composición en el cual aflora una faceta mas oscura y mentalmente abierta que la que Esnaola Moro y Mateos habían demostrado en sus anteriores respectivas bandas se vuelcan a grabar sus primeras 8 canciones. Estas canciones son editadas de manera autogestionada en su primer álbum autotitulado VOODOOMEN. En esa misma época, ante la inminencia de presentaciones en vivo y la necesidad de mutar el sonido electrónico de la banda en rock, se suma Horacio Herrera en batería, aportando contundencia a la atmósfera oscura lograda por Esnaola Moro y Mateos en sus composiciones inaugurales. En una de esas presentaciones son vistos por Theresa Aldao de Strictly Heavy Management (Washington D.C.), la cual inmediatamente después de ese show les ofrece representarlos en U.S.A., trabajo que les permitirá realizar una pequeña gira presentándose en Jaxx (Springfield- Virginia), CBGB´s (New York), Continental (New York), Velvet Lounge(D.C.), Electric Banana (Pittsburgh) y en dos oportunidades en Barbarella (Florida). También son invitados a participar con una canción en un compilado del sitio americano Modernrock.com con distribución en U.S.A..
VOODOOMEN lanza en el año 2000 su segunda producción autogestionada. 10 canciones en un espectro que va desde el dark más lúgubre y melodías melancólicas hasta la tensión urbana devenida distorsión opresiva y desde beats danzables hasta ambientes que evocan a oscuras ciudades. Siete nuevas canciones a las que se se suman dos reversiones de Babies under ground y Voodoomen y el cover Army of me de la artista islandesa Björk.
En 2001 la banda entra al estudio de grabación para registrar lo que sería su último trabajo hasta la fecha, un EP con tres versiones de Dirty naked dead y tres versiones de Six-Six-Sex en ambos casos se incluye una versión en castellano de estas canciones. La banda, de regreso en Argentina después de cinco meses en U.S.A., decide hacer un impasse que se extenderá hasta julio del 2008. Hace algunos meses Mateos y Esnaola Moro comenzaron a trabajar en algunas composiciones para un hipotético tercer disco.
