Zeitraffer Records is a record label in the realm of electronic dance music, based in Germany. It was founded in 2015 by Christian M, who is its owner and managing director. The idea goes back a few years, but was implemented completely only now for financial reasons. That is why Zeitraffer Records is still at the beginning of its career. Through the long-cherished dream of self- produced and distributed music, individual and diverse sound elements could be collected over the years for music production, which now mark the sound of Zeitraffer Records as unmistakable, fresh and innovative and thus have the potential to be club hits. By deliberately missing collaborations or other influences exercised by third parties, Zeitraffer Records represents original personal sound with recognition value. Right from the inception of its idea of music to video production, merchandise, marketing, gigs and so on, everything remain within its own production, whereby a reliable basic concept with flexible elements is provided. Attention to detail, German title, English vocals, unique sounds, generation of bipolar atmosphere and driving beats - that is the mission of the label for good music. The high standard applies not only to the level of music, but also to design the cover. Even though MP3s are currently more practical, Zeitraffer Records puts considerable emphasis on bringing out the items on vinyl because the latter produces a richer experience than MP3.

Zeitraffer Records ist ein Plattenlabel im Bereich der elektronischen Tanzmusik mit Sitz in Deutschland. Es wurde 2015 von Christian M, Inhaber und Geschäftsführer, gegründet. Die Idee dazu reicht schon einige Jahre zurück, konnte aber aus finanziellen Gründen erst jetzt in vollem Umfang umgesetzt werden, weshalb Zeitraffer Records noch am Anfang seiner Laufbahn steht.Durch den langgehegten Traum Musik selbst zu produzierten und zu vertreiben, konnten über Jahre individuelle und vielfältige Klangelemente zur Musikproduktion gesammelt werden, welche den Sound von Zeitraffer Records nun unverwechselbar, frisch und innovativ klingen lassen und somit Clubhit-Potential bieten. Durch bewusst fehlende Kooperationen oder sonstige Einflussnahmen Dritter, steht Zeitraffer Records des weiteren für ursprünglichen Sound mit Wiedererkennungswert.Von der Musik-Idee über Videoproduktion, Merchendise, Marketing, Gigs uvm. bleibt alles in eigener Herstellung, wodurch ein verlässliches Grundkonzept mit dennoch flexiblen Elementen bereitgestellt wird. PR: Third Son’s much-lauded October 2016 label debut ‘Climb to the Sun’ was the highlight of a fine vintage musical year. As one of electronic music's most creative talents, Joseph Thomas Price has already carved out a unique sound and style, further cementing him as one of the most exciting artists of the moment. A recent string of superb releases on Noir, Traum Schallplatten, Upon.You and his own Polymath imprint have now led him back to microcastle, to release his most bold and exciting project to date, the utterly engrossing artist showcase ‘2042'.

This new EP is an aural experiment that demands your full attention, and is the latest engaging, sensory experience from the musical mind of an artist whose talent knows no boundaries. Stylistically diverse over five compositions, Third Son strays from the path of the pure club track to freely explore a more leftfield techno/deep and experimental electronica palette. His journey-esque structures and evolving arrangements lend a visual, filmic element to his music, beautifully emotive and haunting in equal-measure. This is an artist who thrives on challenging people’s perceptions, always moving forward.

Leading this latest opus is ‘Udon’, its swirling metronomic percussive intro fizzing with tension, as the track builds with swarming Moroder-esque synth parts, all held firmly in place with a thumping heartbeat kick and building towards a purring finale. Title track, ‘2042’, rides on a backbone of stripped back, spacious, percussive experimentation and a growling groove, topped with daring detuned synth melodies - bold and distinctive in equal measure.

Third Son takes the journey deeper with the highly filmic ‘Istanbul’. Brooding with the pulse of anticipation, this audio travelogue weaves a magical spell as snippets of indistinct voices call over subtle melodic motifs. The track wanders inexorably into the listener’s subconscious with its subtle shades and tones. The sound-tracking of an imaginary film continues through ‘The End (Parts I+II)’, where metallic anvil percussion provides an evocative contrast to powerful synth swells and dramatic stabs, before diving into a deep abyss of jaw-droppingly dramatic ambient electronica, finally melting into the slo-mo synth euphoria of ‘Eno’.

The ‘2042' EP isn't a short trip, this is an expansive adventure - one that can be revisited time and time again and never sound the same. It’s capacious symphony of sounds, diverse style and expressive range will warm your heart, touch your soul and reach your deepest, most sensitive memories. With Third Son currently developing his live show to capture the drama and emotion presented here, the future for electronic music is looking like a very exciting prospect indeed.

A silky smooth intro, peaceful seconds, before the restless dream starts. Wide open and mysterious deep that is “Soñar“ the title track of Microtrauma’s first longplayer. Like a trip through the universe - “Vona 1.2“ creates different pictures rushing by. Get on the dancefloor with “Filamenta“ and breath deeply while listening to “5254“. The whole longplayer is like an emotional carrousel. From silky smooth beats to bass-loated tracks and foreign noises. “I Am Bient“ comes so dark and cold - you are paralysed, just to get back moving and dreaming the next moment. The longplayer combines techno and wave, house, pop and alien instrumentals. It’s a real refreshment for your ears. You will find peace in “Undercurrent“, face your fears in “Crudo“ and find your way with “Haamit“.

Label founder ABE returns to SINNERS as he delivers his latest two-track release, ‘Eko Plate’.

Launched in late 2017, bourgeoning imprint SINNERS has emerged as an outlet for quality productions across the techno sphere, welcoming a host of material across its first eight EPs from rising talents including Mark Höffen, Elska and Aalson, whilst also serving as an outlet for label boss ABE to release his own emotive productions. Having last featured on the label back in May, here we see the return of the mysterious talent as he reveals his latest two-track effort ‘Eko Plate’ to close September.

Title cut ‘Eko Plate’ leads the charge as slick percussion arrangements and crisp hats go to work amongst deep, driving synth builds and sweeping bass hits, before diving into the slow-blooming, hypnotic textures of ‘Foxdie’ as eerie atmospheres and more tranquil, serene builds interchange across the production’s seven-minute duration.
