The album is a paranoiac panic comedy on city life in a near future. It’s primary protagonist a
character in Byung-Chul Han’s ”The Burnout Society”. A middle class achiever, a self-actualisation
project turned to exploiting himself. Differing from a typical self-help reading optimistic type of
achiever this character is cynical, paranoid and angry at his own self-improvement addiction.
Suffering of a lack of external goal or occupational narrative, he runs around in frustrational efforts
to be of any use. A life of short-term dead-end employments and stressful uncertainty as defined by
what Guy Standing calls the precarious existence, ”you don’t know what to be doing with your
time”.
