Microcosmos Records is happy to announce Ocean Stream, a compilation by DJ V++.
 
Ocean Stream is unusual — it is compiled from experimental tracks and studio improvisation sessions by Microcosmos artists mostly known as chillout producers.
 
The music genres of the compilation range from drone and glitch to experimental, all of them are fused at the ambient flow of sound. The tracks of Ocean Stream form the set of distinctive stories by chillout masters combined into a music stream. Like an ocean current, it flows you through the dark and the light, whirls into dreams, leads through the forest and space landscapes. The crown jewel of the compilation is a previously unreleased track by Noraus.

Spring is the season of beauty, rebirth, chaos and wonder. Every living thing is bouncing back, refreshed after a long hibernation - - and it’s crazy out there! As much as you want to drink in all the gorgeousness, the chaos of all that rebirth energy can really make your head spin.  

For us, after this particularly deadly winter in Brooklyn, Spring couldn’t be more welcome - - - - or more totally chaotic! So we made this set especially to provide a bit of peace amidst all the insane energy out there. Just press play and let the chilling vibes spread through your body, pour into your mind & melt over your heart like a sweet afternoon nap in the springtime breeze.

So! Here is my live recording of the Plant Sound Journey i did at Boom festival this summer 🍃🌱🌿
I never did a whole set playing only plant generated sounds before. I also never played such an “ambient” set, not in anyway attemting to intensify, but rather inviting the audience to fully slow down. 
To, just for this one hour, put aside all we think we know of how we safe the planet through what we eat and how we live with nature. To put aside everything we logically know and studiet about, but to rather emphasize with it and for once just truly try to listen to what it wants to tell us. 
I feel that we live in a world where the art of listening, is something we have to relearn. 
To listen not only with our ears and mind, but also with our hearts and intuition.
I believe that only then, we would really be able to hear the clear message being given. 
That only then, we really connect and become one 🍃
