One of the tightest live ensembles on the planet, the Souljazz Orchestra has been fusing global roots music with soul, funk and jazz for almost a decade. With a new album <i>Inner Fire</i> on the way at the end of February, the band's leader Pierre Chrétien broke out the turntables and vintage Roland Space Echo effects unit, put together a short mix showcasing highlights from the Orchestra's career; from the debut release in 2006 until the present, including a first listen to some smoking new material from <i>Inner Fire</i>.
