Dva Dereva is a duo from Ukraine, comprising Artem Cherchinsky (synthesizer, duduk, pimak, bansuri, strings, percussions) and Nadezhda Makarova (vocal, standing bell). Their music is a balanced blend of ethnical and electronic features and has been accorded recognition among fans of shamanic rhythms and deep meditative music. Dva Dereva is a permanent resident of ethnic and yoga festivals in Ukraine and Moldova.

"Who Am I?" is the third album by the duo. This time, the musicians produce a musical reflection on the natural state of human beings and its connection with the environment and the Universe, as well as the imprint we are going to leave on this world. The music dazzles with its soft drones, immersive bass, airy wind instruments, shamanic rhythms, and Nadezhda’s alluring voice. It lets you forget about the triviality of life, and guides your thoughts deeply to the origins and spirituality. The music of "Who Am I?" lavishes the happiness of life in harmony.

Mimi Love has played herself into the hearts of countless people all over the globe with her signature sound and unforgettable gigs. Her sets are diverse and distinct, and have been known to move people’s hearts and feet in equal measure wherever she plays.
Although she can often be found discovering unknown territories, Berlin is the place where she loves to take off and land. As a member of the infamous Bachstelzen crew and resident DJ at Katerblau, she is deeply rooted in the German capital, where she has been playing many different roles in “this theatre called underground” for the past 10 years.

Her heartwarming style encompasses both slow and fast vibes, spanning a mixture of electronica-ethno, soft rock - downtempo hiphop all the way to what she calls pop-techno. This podcast is peek into her colourful collection, a mix that showcases the different kinds of music she has collected over the past months. It shows us a side of Mimi Love that we don’t always get to see in clubs - one that we’ve very happy to be able to experience for ourselves with her specially curated mix for Urban Cosmonaut Radio. For this episode, we are delighted to present you an original mix created for us by that extraordinary producer known as El Búho. His ability to blend natural tones and traditional South American motifs with electronic beat grew along the past 9 years and is now renowned. The resulting music creates magical soundscapes, it feels like having a night walk in a forest, the air is filled with the buzz of the creatures swarming around, fireflies sparkle in the dark. Although El Búho’s acoustics are painted in vivid colours, this mix is inspired by Winter. It all begun on a cloudy day in one of those “hobbit-esque” villages in Northern England. You can imagine him sitting by the window, watching the clouds being pushed on by the wind, while the fire burns slow in the stove. There, the artist found inspiration and recorded many of the impressions that we can now listen to on this beautiful mix. The rain tapping on the ground, jackdaws cawing, crunchy leaves being caressed by the wind… Those organic sounds, so familiar and yet so ethereal, they free your mind and might let you fly to imaginary locations. They're able to evoke bygone memories or make us dream of new places to explore. From there, the mix develops along the Winter and welcomes the upcoming Spring. So now open your heart, feel this delicate sound touching it and unleash your imagination to let your mind travel to your own peaceful place.

This may be the first official Ecstatic Dance set Amani has posted; "these dances are so enjoyable for me to play, as they require a wide range of styles in order to take the dancers in a bell curve flow.  I really love weaving lots of styles into one set.  Last fall 2017 I recorded my sets from Maui Dance Church, Salt Lake City, and San Diego at Trilogy, but after reviewing them all I settled on this one from Boulder on Feb 6th which was part of a benefit event to help the wildfire victims. Sasha Malkovich is a well-known Russian ambient and chill-out producer. Having worked in collaboration with famous pop music projects for more than 20 years, Sasha found his creative path in composing psychedelic music. He is the creator of magnificent musical atmospheres, the immersing mood of his ambient is skillfully blended with energetic rhythms of progressive, and sunny dub lines are garnished with intense breakbeats. His two releases on Microcosmos Records led to Sasha gaining appreciation as a brilliant master in chill-out.

Human Magnetism proceeds with the style of the previous albums. It represents the composer’s reasoning about the place of a human in nature, about the philosophy of interaction between an individual and the society, as well as about solving the environmental and spiritual issues of humankind.
