As sons and daughters of these ancient crossroads, the artists touring the U.S. as part of Center Stage in 2014 create work from within rich and storied cultures. Through music and movement, they engage the new and the historic and help shape the complex societies in which they live.

In its second season, Center Stage will bring Seven contemporary dance and music ensembles from Morocco, Pakistan, and Vietnam to the U.S. to perform, and build mutual understanding as they engage with Americans during independent month-long tours from June to November 2014.

Embracing the high tempos and cutting edge edits of Hi-Tech but staying grounded in the depths and subtleties of Forest, this project tends to add a dance floor and modern touch to the deep mental experience we know. 

Sometimes melodic, also groovy and powerful, The Hi-Forest Third World is full of surprises, and reveals itself as a proper balance between mind and body to lead the listener into an energetic transcendental mind journey.

Quadrivium Records is honored to present MOSSAIC, a new compilation orchestrated and maneuvered by Felix aka DJ Azrael, our very own label DJ from bizarre Berlin.

In this opus a wild variety of versatile artists were turning their minds inside out to deliver a psychedelic potpourri within the spectra of Organic Forest and Dark Psychedelic Trance.

To continue the Quadrivium saga, this compilation does consist of highly energetic, multi-layered soundscapes with outstanding depths of musical precision. With a mix of characteristic classics from our Quadrivium Roster and unexpected collaborations between some tremendously encouraged veterans of our scene, this obscure delicacy is an achievement of years of work, fine tuning and introspection that these artists are gifting us.

The Mossaic concept reflects the geometrical and architectural visualisations of our music, where mossy sonic patterns forms complex canvas of entangled organic textures and shapes.

In a more philosophical approach, the Mossaic represents the ancient links which connects humankind to nature, and brings to light our buried ancestral and wild roots that this music aims to reveal. The path to the core of our metaphysical heritage is deep and tortuous…

Aksemetrix is the musical project of Yuri Aksenov (Tyumen, Russia). With ten releases to his name spanning ambient, downtempo, psy-chill, and progressive, Yuri crafts his sound using both analog and digital synthesis, guitar, and harmonica.

Voice Of The Soul represents a harmonious fusion of cosmic ambient, lo-fi, and blues-infused guitar. It is full of experiments with unconventional rhythms, and field recordings capturing conversations and sounds of nature. Ethereal synth textures create a dreamy, translucent atmosphere. Meticulously crafted arrangements seamlessly blend warm bass lines, intricate arpeggios, acoustic guitar, and harmonica. The music of the album takes the listener away from the mundane into realms of beautiful, fantastical imagery.
