🗯🗯 Did your approach on creating music change during the pandemic and did it maybe even influence your style? 🗯🗯

In the grand scheme of things, the job is...and always will remain the same. Moving people. However, regarding the delicate balance between head and crotch music, the scales have tipped considerably to the side of cerebral provocation in the absence of the dance floor physicality. This pandemic year has not substantially altered my music collecting or production habits, but has simply re-arranged my moods. Mirroring or channeling prevailing feelings with honesty and authenticity is the name of the game. So. Short answer. A little bit slower, a tad introspective, but always funky. I mean....

🗯🗯 What’s your favorite drink while being behind the decks in the Club? 🗯🗯

Mezcal and lots of water. Sip one, gulp the other. Sometimes switch it up.

🗯🗯 How did you prepare this mix and what was your main inspiration? 🗯🗯

I ALWAYS imagine a friend's face in absolute ecstasy as I play a certain part of certain track. That's the starting point. From there, I free-associate and connect the dots between highs and lows, always imagining that friend in the room. I keep them happy and engaged. For this mix, I thought of my friend Alex in Brooklyn giggling as he sings along to 'Sexy disco, sexy disco, na-na-na!'

"Fairy dreaming" mix expresses an important part of a life story of music. A dream that come true when I saw all as a divine beings, sharing the valley between the ents of light, breathing the air of the mist on the hills on a dawn of hope and gratitude.

I hope you enjoy this mix like me, I just loved play at the wonderful chilldome stage with my baby inside my body, two hearts, just one love... 

Congratulations to the organizers for the energies and arts present in every moment, and of course to my family and friends that made this festival f.. good!

"Above all else, what I love about DJing is the endless hunt for incredible and unique music that I can share with others. I'm an introvert by nature, I don't really like being in crowds and I tend to overanalyse everything. What brings me peace is the music itself. 

I've spent more than half of my life listening to all types of electronic music. It's a huge part of my life and through the love of music I've met most of my best friends and my beautiful dance floor warrior princess (now my wife). 

I love techno. I always have and always will. This however is only one piece of the puzzle. Outside of DJing clubs and festivals you'll find me listening to a huge range of sounds and styles. An unquenchable thirst for sonic brilliance. 

One style in particular is that which blurs the lines between electronica, modern classical, ambient and downtempo. Music that I can listen to through headphones to turn the volume on the rest of the world down. My own microcosmos in a fast-paced world.

Rainbow Serpent Festival is one of my favourite places on earth. It revives me each year mentally and musically. Having the opportunity to contribute music alongside my heroes is a huge honour and one I do not take lightly. 

This set took months to compile and saw me dive deep into the archives for tunes that have inspired me over the past two decades. It's a representation of all that I love about music.

With this set and the time it was played, I wanted people to wake up to warm ambient and soft keys, before building to glitchy electronica and broken beats that would revitalise sore heads. As the morning sun bathed the festival grounds, smiling faces filled the dance floor. 
 
I hope that you enjoy the set and this insight into what drives my passion".

This tune takes you on a deep journey into the very coalescence of the ambient nature. The soundscape delves into a mystical beauty that is resonant, yet fluid and provoking of thought.
